Britney Spears' day started innocuously enough, as the pop princess stopped by the Beverly Center to pay a visit to Claire's. Hey, fifteen hundred bucks a week can buy you a whole bunch of plastic bracelets!

On the way home from the mall, however, Brit's driver got a little overzealous in his attempts to evade the paps and got flagged down by a cop. Luckily for Britney, those same paps seemed to put the cop on edge when they turned up with their cameras blazing - so he just waved Brit's driver off! Well, that's one way to beat a ticket!

No wonder Britney stopped by the beauty parlor last night - her boyfriend Adnan Ghalib was stopping by later!

We caught the pop princess' paparazzi paramour arriving at the Summit last night.

Looks like he wasn't too eager to have his arrival spotted, either - as soon as he gave our cameraman a smile, he peeled off into the night towards Britney's house!

X17 was on the scene last night when Britney Spears' paparazzo paramour Adnan Ghalib struck a motorcyclist with his car - although Adnan probably wishes we weren't!

Events began unfolding as the couple began to head back from Brentwood (where they'd just enjoyed dinner at Taverna Tony and dessert at Pinkberry) when, out of nowhere, Ghalib struck a luckless biker with Britney's car. Our photographers' initial reports put the blame squarely on Adnan's "crazy driving".

Unfortunately, Adnan's driving wasn't anywhere near as crazy as his response to the crash - as you can see in the video below, his first instinct is to check out the damage done to Britney's Mercedes rather than check on the bloodied biker's status!

Eventually, however, Ghalib started trading info with his victim once he regained his senses - and whipped out his dollars!

Yes, the next thing we saw was Ghalib pulling out a fat roll of cash - as a writing surface to help him jot down his contact info, of course. (And, of course, if it should help impress his victim, so much the better!)

Luckily, Adnan was able to smooth over the situation before the cops showed up. Hey, you can't go getting something like this on your driving record if you want to make a living as a paparazzo!

Nicole Richie stopped by traffic school yesterday to take care of some court-ordered business stemming from her DUI last year, with her faithful fiancee Joel Madden by her sidde for support. Despite the circumstances which led to her enrollment, we actually think these pictures are incredibly encouraging - who doesn't love the story of a mother giving up on her wild ways in favor of handling their business in a mature manner?

With Kevin Federline's lawyer allegedly threatening to introduce into evidence tape of Britney Spears bumping into a paparazzo, we were a little taken aback by the way Kevin's car left the Summit last night - after all, he came so close to hitting the photogs at breakneck speed that they reported feeling the wind from his passing truck! The worst part? Sean and Jayden were in the car! Well, you know what they say - let he who is without sin call the first emergency hearing!

Nicole Richie may be in a matronly way at the moment, but she's certainly not letting her maternal duties get in the way of her life! Yesterday, we caught the diminutive diva stopping by LA Theatre Works before heading over to traffic school. (Maybe they'll hook her up with a "Baby On Board" sign for her car once she's completed it!)

We have something of a rep for being tough on celebs for their automotive misadventures - but when the celeb in question is Katherine Heigl, we're inclined to be a little more kind! We spotted the Gray's Anatomy starlet getting into a fender-bender yesterday afternoon; to her credit, Katherine immediately hopped out of her car with her insurance card in hand. Unfortunately, in all the commotion, she forgot to take a picture of the damage to the other person's car - luckily, all she had to do was ask us!

Paris Hilton must have had an awfully pressing engagement yesterday afternoon - just check out the illegal left turn she made as she high-tailed it off of Robertson! Jeez, Paris, slow down - haven't you had enough driving-related legal misery already this year?
