Dakota Fanning covers the latest issue of V Magazine, and the starlet looks like she's 15 going on 25! Dakota talks about fame, her films and what it's like to be so well known at such a young age.

Ms. Fanning tells the mag, “I think that when you’re in the public eye, you automatically become a role model, because people are reading about you and looking at pictures of stuff you’ve done. But, you know, no one’s perfect, everyone makes mistakes. I have made mistakes and I will make mistakes. I’m only human.”

Of course, when you take away the couture clothes, makeup and hairstylists, she's just like any other teenage girl! Yesterday a fresh faced Dakota donned some green rubber boots to go shopping at Barney's New York in Beverly Hills, but by the time she left, the rain had dissolved into sunshine. Hey, Dakota's still just a young girl with her whole career ahead of her, so it's always a good thing to be extra careful and make sure you've got plenty of protection!
