Dakota Fanning Is Definitely Not A Little Kid Anymore

And she proves just that in the latest issue of Marie Claire!
Aside from showing off her more mature (but also laid back) clothing style and admitting that the Twilight novels are "so addicting," 16-year-old Dakota Fanning proves she actually a smart young adult.
"I hope that The Runaways was kind of a moment to be like, 'You know, I'm not that young little girl anymore, but I'm still not all grown up, either,'" says Fanning.
She also talks about her first on-screen kiss with Kristen Stewart in that movie: "It's out of the way, and it was with my friend and a girl - no pressure. It was not something Cherie [Currie] and Joan [Jett] ever really spoke about, and that's how it was filmed - as not that big of a deal."
Currently, Dakota is busy reading The Virgin Suicides... loves it! And doesn't she look stunning in this above pic?
"It's something that's always been there for me, that I have huge blue eyes — it's been something that people have always talked about," Fanning admits. And we couldn't agree more!
