Dakota Fanning may be the most mature 16-year-old on the planet, but apparently she's not too old to still be playing with Barbies.

Last night she told Jimmy Kimmel about one of her recent school projects:

"I do a course called cement sculpture and you could make either a shoe or a car. So I made a cement Jeep for Barbie - well, of course. You carve it out of Styrofoam and then you cement it. Barbie loves it, it's on the fireplace."

Of course, when Dakota Fanning plays with Barbies -- it's art!

The Eclipse babe stopped by the show to promote her already record-breaking new film.

Sisters slash BFFs! Eclipse starlet Dakota Fanning lunched out with her family in Studio City on Tuesday, and along for the ride was Dakota's little sis (and fellow actress herself) Elle...

The younger Fanning will next be seen in Sofia Coppola's Somewhere AND Nutcracker and the Rat King, both hitting theaters this Christmas - not too shabby! Elle might even prove to be a bigger actress than her sister.

Last night Eclipse starlet Dakota Fanning touched down at LAX, and the 16-year-old starlet graciously greeted her fans as she made her way to her car. Not only did she smile for a few pictures, but she took the time to sign several autographs and chat with photogs. Aww, maybe her pal Kristen Stewart could take some notes? Just sayin'!

Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessica Biel, Dakota Fanning, Sarah Jessica Parker and the Olsen twins were among the many uber famous faces at the 2010 CFDA Fashion Awards at the Lincoln Center in NYC last night, but it was the 16-year-old Eclipse star who brought it when it came to the red carpet. Sure, Gwyn gave it her all (and kept it a bit on the boring side), but what were SJP and Ms. Biel thinking?

Dakota Fanning was snapped leaving the gym in the valley yesterday, and the Eclipse starlet was looking a bit like her character in the film -- pretty and pale. Hey, nothing wrong with that, but hopefully she's invested in some SPF 45 this summer!

Dakota Fanning, rocking another pair of hot shoes, picked up a script at a Hollywood office yesterday.

Her new film, The Runaways, released wide yesterday, and although the flm itself has gotten mixed reviews, Fanning has won praise for her potrayal as the hard-rocking Runaway Cherie Currie!

Okay, not to be mean, but Kristen Stewart kinda looks like a lady of the night here ...

A half-crazy stylist obviously got her paws on Kristen before The Runaways premiere in New York tonight. And after such a good showing at the LA premiere and before that, at the Oscars!

This was definitely a "miss" for Ms. Stewart, but I think Dakota Fanning's lacy, lady-like frock was a "hit"!
