Let's Give Dave Chappelle A Standing Ovation!

Looking back, we're pretty shocked that we caught Dave Chappelle on his feet on Monday afternoon - after all, the comedian had just finished breaking the record for longest stand-up performance in Laugh Factory history the night before! Chappelle hit the stage for a staggering six hours and twelve minutes Sunday night, beating his old record (set in April) by five minutes. Six hours? Good lord - that's practically a whole Chappelle's Show season worth of jokes right there!
There's also talk that Dane Cook had designs on toppling Dave's record - uh, good luck with that, buddy!

dave chappelle is funny as hell but honestly is it really that hard to talk for 6 whole freakin hours...i am a waiter and i have to talk and be sociable and funny and empathetic and a counselor and put up with cranky people for a FULL 8 hour shift if not more...can i get a little lovin here? oh wait, I am not a celebrity so I am expected to do that! SAD!!!!!
