Apparently the lot is not just for dancing -- David Arquette suited up (in a retro, pinstripe suit, that is) to hit a few golf balls at Dancing With The Stars rehearsal on Saturday.

Cameras were rolling as Arquette turned the parking lot into a driving range -- can't wait to see that on the show!

The suit is part of a costume for David and partner Kym Johnson's upcoming jive performance.

The stars of Dancing With The Stars celebrated their season premiere at Hyde Monday night, where Elisabetta Canalis and Kristin Cavallari looked totally glam!

Elisabetta left her hair done up from the show -- she's just like a kid heading out after a school play!

David Arquette and Chynna Phillips (plus hubby Billy Baldwin) were also at the fete.

The Kardashians had a separate, family get-together at Mastro's Steakhouse, where Khloe Kardashian, Lamar Odom and Bruce and Kris Jenner were all on hand to celebrate Rob (even though he didn't get great scores from the judges.) See what Kris had to say about Rob's performance in our video below!

Our photogs caught the Scream star leaving the Los Angeles studio Tuesday with two neon bags, which we can only hope are full of shiny, sparkly costume ideas.

Even though he has a professional dancer paired with him, David's hoping he can have a little extra help from a famous longtime pal ... Howard Stern! He told Sirius-XM's Howard 100 News:

"I want him to be my backstage coach to just help me out if he has any pointers, if he thinks I should focus on something, or what I'm doing wrong and sort of be part of the whole competition."

Who knew Howard would be able to help with jazz hands!

The actor, currently embattled in a separation from wife Courteney Cox, is rumored to be joining season 13 of Dancing with the Stars, according to TMZ. He's also reportedly met with partner Kym Johnson.

Many stars have previously been name dropped as possibly contestants this fall, including Rob Kardashian, former Hills star Kristin Cavallari, Mike Tyson, NBA star Ron Artest, singer Christina Milian and George Clooney's ex-girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis.

Queen Latifah and Snooki were said to be joining the cast, but both dispelled the rumors via Twitter.

Contestants will officially be announced August 29, and season three will premiere September 19 on ABC.

Looks like someone forgot to feed the meter!

David Arquette was all smiles in LA as he chatted on his cell phone -- until he got to his car and found a ticket on the windshield!

It's common knowledge in LA that you can get a ticket within the first five seconds of parking anywhere when you don't feed the meter, so why are celebs always getting so many parking tickets?

We guess the Scream 4 star can afford the $65+ penalty in lieu of feeding the meter -- what major celeb carries that much loose change anyway?
