David Beckham and his kids Romeo and Cruz stopped for a quick chat with Maria Shriver outside Pinkberry on Thursday.
Our photographer on the scene tells us the two parents were talking education -- about their experiences at the local private schools and what they both think about the public school system in LA.
Could David be headed toward a career in politics once he retires from soccer? It's probably more likely that Shriver, of the Kennedy clan, will run for office. Could she be the next California Governator?
David's already on a one-game suspension after a yellow card in Wednesday's game against the Toronto FC. It's the Galaxy star's fifth yellow card in six games -- this one being for a reckless tackle. He'll sit out Sunday's game against the Chicago Fire.
This is Beck's fifth and final year with the LA team but he has been quoted as saying he would consider returning to the MLS after this season.
