David Boreanaz Says Cheating Helped His Marriage

Bones star David Boreanaz opened up to the latest issue of TVWeek about his marriage -- and his 2010 affair with Rachel Uchitel.
The actor has some surprising things to say. He says the affair was "a bonding experience, in the long run" for him and wife Jaime Bergman. He continues:
- "In a sacred ground like marriage, you find yourself out of it at certain times for reasons unknown that can be destructive. There could be a demon that kind of comes out and overtakes you."
Boreanaz and Bergman (above), a former Playboy playmate, married in November 2001 after nine months of dating.
The couple are parents to son Jaden, 9, and daughter Bella, 2.
