So it wasn't a suicide?
According to Lieutenant Colonel Pirom Jantrapirom of the Lumpini police station in Bangkok, David Carradine "was found hanging by a rope in the [hotel] room's closet," and the actor's manager Chuck Binder has described his death as "accidental." Hmm, so that means it wasn't intentional...which means it wasn't a suicide?
Carradine's body was naked when it was found, and the rope was tied around Carradine's neck and parts of his body, according to several reports. The body has been transferred to a hospital for an autopsy, and we'll bring you the latest info as soon as we know more.

Oscar-nominated actor David Carradine was found dead in his Bangkok Hotel room yesterday, his manager has confirmed. The 72-year-old star was in the country shooting a film, and The Nation reports that the actor hanged himself, though authorities have yet to release a statement on the tragedy.
Manager Chuck Binder told Fox News Carradine's death is "shocking and sad. He was full of life, always wanting to work...a great person." According to Binder, one of the film's producers went to the actor's hotel room and found that he had passed away.
We last saw David in February, and he appeared to be in good spirits as he left Los Angeles for Nashville. He had his guitar with him, and he chatted with photographers about his music and his latest projects. We're still shocked to think that the Kill Bill star may have committed suicide, and we'll be bringing you the latest information as soon as we get it.

Thai police told the BBC Carradine was found by a hotel maid sitting in a wardrobe with a rope around his neck and body on Thursday morning.
