David Hasselhoff took his daughter out for a little pre-birthday shopping trip in the Big Apple yesterday afternoon - Taylor turns twenty today.

Anyone excited about The Hoff's upcoming reality show on A&E? It'll be about him raising daughters Taylor-Ann and Hayley, who are both aspiring singers. Meh!

David Hasselhoff's ex-wife, Pamela Bach, was sentenced to 90 days in jail for a DUI charge stemming from an arrest last year.

Bach pleaded no contest to the charge of driving under the influence Thursday in an LA area court room.

Pamela will also have to serve 16 days of Cal Trans work, to enroll in an 18-month licensed alcohol and drug education counseling program, complete a 21-day program known as the Multiple Offender Drinking Driver Program and pay fines that total almost $5,000.

Bach's license will be suspended for two years, and upon the completion of her sentence, she'll have to wear a SCRAM device (an ankle bracelet that measures blood-alcohol content) for 6 months.

She's been ordered to surrender by May 3rd.

Yesterday we spotted David Hasselhoff and his daughter Hayley in Malibu, and the two appeared to be having a blast spending his Baywatch bucks at Intermix, among other places.

It was announced on Friday that the teen has landed a role in the new show HUGE, based on the book of the same name, about a group of teens as a weight-loss camp.

Hayley, who has previously appeared in only one film -- More Than Puppy Love in 2002 -- will play Amber, the thinnest and hottest girl at the camp who considers herself too big.

Production begins in April and the pilot will air in June.

Looks like Hayley's following in dad's footsteps -- we just hope she doesn't follow all the way!

It had to happen ... the usually-drunk David Hasselhoff has inked deal for his own reality show on A&E.

After quitting America's Got Talent, the cable channel announced yesterday that the show about the former Baywatch boss will premiere this year and run for ten episodes.

The show will follow the 57 year-old dad as he raises his 19- and 17-year old daughters Taylor-Ann and Hayley. They will NOT focus on the Hoff's well-documented struggle with alcohol, however.

So what does that mean? Boooring!!!

The way I see it, the only things that would make this show worth watching would be ...

• to see Hasselhoff go through rehab and get sober
• to see the Hoff wasted and eating hamburgers, on a regular basis
• to see David skateboard into traffic with his eyes closed, a la Danny Bonaduce

If we don't see at least one of the above, I'm predicting the show will be a flop!

Last night we snapped David Hasselhoff's 17-year-old daughter Hayley leaving the Avalon in Hollywood, but since it WAS an all ages charity event, we're not going to rip her a new one. Plus, she's the one who seems to be taking care of her father when he has his messy "incidents," so it sounds like this is one aspiring actress who actually has her life in order.

David Hasselhoff is walking away from his biggest hit in years, (in this country, anyway) America's Got Talent.

NBC issued a statement saying, "David's been an integral part of the success of America's Got Talent, and we are sad to see him go."

Although Hasselhoff has been in and out of hospitals this year for his problems with alcohol (including a stint at a London hospital after AGT producer Simon Cowell's party), Hoff's reportedly leaving by choice. David's apparently got his sights set on a show of his own.

No word if that show is Celebrity Rehab.

I guess it's easier to buy your child's affection than actually earn it! Yeah, I said it.

David Hasselhoff penciled in some quality time with his daughter Tuesday afternoon, taking her shopping at Z Gallerie in Beverly Hills. Retail therapy makes the world go round! So do hugs. But moreso shopping...

David Hasselhoff’s rep has denied that he was put on an involuntary psychiatric hold following his hospitalization over the weekend.

After other sites reported that the troubled actor was put on a 5150, David's rep issued the following statement, "David is home now and he's fine. I'm not sure where that information is coming from."

And he's not the only one who had a less than festive weekend! Hasselhoff’s ex-wife Pamela Bach was charged with drunk driving Saturday night, after being stopped after 8PM on Laurel Canyon Boulevard. According to the LA Times, Bach recorded breathalyzer tests of .14 and .13, which is well above the legal limit of .08.
