Debra Messing and her husband of ten years, Daniel Zelman, split earlier this year, and already, she has a new man!

The former Will & Grace star is now dating her Smash co-star Will Chase, according to People.

On the NBC show premiering in February, Messing, 43, and Chase, 41, play "married people who are romantically entangled."

The new couple have been dating for six weeks. A source tells the mag:

"They had so many scenes together and they were playing people with a romantic past so it didn't seem odd. Things only really started to heat up between them several weeks ago."

Messing and Zelman are the parents to 7-year-old son Roman. Chase has two children from a previous marriage.

The source adds, "This is all very, very new."

Messing's rep released the following statement to X17online:

"Debra Messing and Daniel Zelman privately separated earlier this year after a 10 year marriage. The decision was mutual, and they remain supportive of one another and committed to raising their son as a family."

Messing and Zelman are parents to 7-year-old son, Roman.

The actress will be starring next in the NBC series Smash.

Yesterday we spotted Debra Messing leaving Fred Segal, and while it looks like the actress cleaned up at the store, we wish we could say the same for her face! On the positive side, at least we know that Deb looks exactly like the rest of us when we roll out of bed in the morning!

Deb Messing got all dressed up with an expensive updo and a dress with sequined cuffs to attend the Rodeo Drive Walk Of Style Awards Ceremony last night in Beverly Hills, but she ruined her whole illusion by giving us this surprised face (and not in a botox way) outside of Mr. Chow.

I wonder if I would have liked this dress if it was made out of say, blue fabric. Or even brown fabric. Or anything other than this hideous pleathery material! The glam gladiator shoes aren't that bad, and the sitcom star's hair and makeup look fine, but that brown leather belongs on a pair of chaps, not Debra.
