Demi Lovato is speaking out about her upcoming documentary, Stay Strong.
The former Disney darling, who addresses her eating disorder issues in the MTV special, opened up on the Today Show regarding why she's decided to go public about her struggles. Demi tells Ann Curry:
- “I decided to tell my story because I know there are a lot of young teens out there, girls and boys, that are dealing with the same issues that I’ve been through. If I’m able to use my voice to do good in the world, then I definitely want to do that."
Speaking of using her voice, the 19-year-old songstress also belted out her latest single "Give Your Heart A Break."
