Demi Moore's role as feminist legend Gloria Steinem in Lovelace has been given to actress Mary Louise Parker, according to Us.
47-year-old Parker, who is currently the star of Weeds, will begin filming next month.
As for why Demi dropped out of the film, her rep released the following statement:
- “Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health. She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends.”
The Ghost star was hospitalized after reportedly inhaling a dangerous amount of nitrous oxide aka "Whip-its."
Amanda Seyfried and Malin Ackerman will also be starring in Lovelace alongside Parker.
Do you think Mary Louise Parker is a good fit for the role?
