And no, I'm not talking about that stupid beanie Ashton couldn't be bothered to take off. THIS nun/priest outfit is what the Kabbalist Kutchers decided to wear to temple for Purim. And yes, as Demi pointed out on her Twitter page, that is a ruler in her hand!
While we'd like to give them credit for being controversial, they aren't the first to do this - back on March of 2005, Madonna and Guy Ritchie also dressed as a nun and a Catholic priest...and caused as much of an uproar amongst the religious community!
Hey, at least they didn't wear something skimpy to temple! Check out pix of the happy couple below leaving the Kabbalah Centre in LA last night. Ashton changed out of his priest costume before heading home, but think maybe he broke it out later in the bedroom for a little naughty role-playing?

And I am not even following any religion. it's just not done.
I would not light a match to close to Demi she may very well burst into flames. They do not follow a religion they follow a someone who claim to be a spiritual leader but really is after this $$$ because he tells them that everything they do is wonderful and they pay for it. And also Demi's plastic surgeon he must be a multi-millionare from her alone. And as for Ashton can you blame the really really dumb. They are beyond D-Listers yet they have no idea really kind of sad...

I just feel like this is completely inappropriate. No matter what you believe in or don't its out of line. There are people who are/were fans of their work that are catholic and to make fun of or put down that religion just b/c it isn't what you believe it not funny. They walk around with the attitude like they are better than everyone else and who are they to act that way. I would never make fun of their belief b/c thats their right as an american to believe what they believe. Its just very hurtful that they sit on their high horse like they are so much better than everyone else and make fun of something that means a lot to a lot of people. Ashton once said at an awards show to all the young kids "be different...follow your own path" and now he is mocking something just b/c he doesn't choose to believe in it. I am catholic but my parents raised me to be repectful of other people and their feelings on what they believe and to know that it is a very personnal thing and I have no right to judge that or make someone feel less than me if they believe something different. The worst part is they have the smirks on their faces and attitude like they just don't give a sh** about the feelings of those they are hurting by doing this. I really have lost a lot of respect for them after seeing this...very sad.

Well..the costumes may be in bad taste, but, I think its cool that a young man is close enough to his mother to dress up in a theme costumes and take her to a party. Must you people always focus on the negative?
