The women of Desperate Housewives are back for their eighth and final season, and they're not definitely not going out with a whimper.

Eva Longoria, 36, wore a beige belted Grecian-style dress while her co-stars Vanessa Williams, 48, Teri Hatcher, 46, Felicity Huffman, 48, and Marcia Cross, 49, were all decked out in attention-grabbing skin-tight neutral minis in their newest promo pics.

How is it possible that not one of them looks a day over 30? Crazy!

Season eight premieres Sunday, September 25, on ABC.

Nicollette Sheridan's Desperate Housewives case is heading to court!

In a hearing today, an LA judge gave the green light for Sheridan's $20 million lawsuit against the show's creator to go to trial.

"It is clear to the court that this is something that needs to go to a jury," Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elizabeth Allen said.

Sheridan was present to hear the judge's decision; she had not appeared at other sessions for the case.

Sheridan, whose character on the hit ABC series was killed off, filed her complaint against creator Marc Cherry a year ago. She claimed the producer wrongly fired her and cited an incident in which he reportedly assaulted her in 2008.

The actress said he "forcefully hit her with his hand across her face."

Both Sheridan's former co-stars on the show and ABC have sided with Cherry in the case.

An officer at the Van Nuys jails tells X17online that Ricardo Chavira has been released.

The 39-year-old actor, who plays Eva Longoria's hubby on Desperate Housewives, was arrested around 2 a.m. Tuesday in Los Angeles. He failed a sobriety test and was taken to jail in Van Nuys for suspicion of driving under the influence.

Bail was set at $25,000 bail.

Wonder what Eva would have to say about this!

Eva Longoria's TV husband on Desperate Housewives, Ricardo Chavira, was pulled over this morning in Los Angeles and arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Chavira was pulled over shortly after 2am and was given a sobriety test.

The LAPD says the ABC star failed the test and was arrested at 2:20am.

The 39-year-old actor is currently being held at the Van Nuys jail on $25,000 bail.
