Last night Quentin Tarantino was honored at the Museum of Modern Art, and everyone from Diane Kruger (who starred in his film, Inglourious Basterds) to Chelsea Clinton were in attendance.

Kruger and Peter Bogdanovich gave speeches praising the writer/director/actor for his vision, and Bogdanovich told the crowd, "A Quentin Tarantino picture is exactly that: It's all him. It's all his. Dynamically, viscerally, excitingly his. An unmistakable signature. And he has had a remarkable influence over American and foreign movies since Pulp Fiction burst on the screen in the mid-'90s. Indeed, I would say he is the single most influential director of his generation."

Bogdanovich added that he had just seen Django Unchained the previous night, and he considered it Tarantino's best work yet. "I'm still shaking," he remarked.

Longtime loves Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson stepped off a flight from France today -- both in sandals -- after a whirlwind time at the Cannes Film Festival.

The pair, who've been together for six years, won't be walking down the aisle together anytime soon, according to the 35-year-old Jackson ...

“Neither of us is religious, and the picket fence isn’t what we're aiming at,” the 33-year-old actor told Life & Style magazine. “We’re together for six years now, so for all intents and purposes, we are (married).

“I have no need for a priest to tell me that!”

Kruger, also 35, was previously married to French actor Guillaume Canet for five years. The two divorced in 2006.

“Without sounding pessimistic, I learned that I don’t believe in marriage,” the actress told Glamour magazine in February 2011. “I believe in a commitment that you make in your heart. There’s no paper that will make you stay.”

Jackson recently gifted his actress girlfriend with a $45,000 necklace, sparking engagement rumors, but it sounds like, in this case, a gift was just a gift!

Diane Kruger attended the premiere of Amour at the Cannes Film Festival on Sunday, and she pretty much blew everyone away with her sparkly Vivienne Westwood Couture gown.

While Diane may have been the best dressed, she wasn't the only famous face attracting all sorts of attention on the red carpet. We snapped Tom Hardy and his co-stars at the Lawless premiere, and we couldn't stop staring at his bushy beard. How very Joaquin Phoenix of him!

When in Cannes flaunt it ... because you CAN!

Eva Longoria, Freida Pinto and the always gorgeous Diane Kruger didn't disappoint while hitting the red carpet for the Moonrise Kingdom premiere at the Cannes Film Festival.

The Desperate Housewives actress rocked a stunning Marchesa while holding an embroidered handbag by the same designer.

Pinto chose a strapless dress by Michael Angel. We're loving the beaded bodice, pale pink skirt with the thigh-high slit. However, the heels are bit questionable. Just sayin'.

Kruger dazzled in an aqua-colored gown by Giambattista Valli. Head-to-toe beauty!

Rachel McAdams and Cheryl Cole are teaching les francais a thing or deux about fashion!

McAdams continues to wow us on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival, this time at the premiere of Sleeping Beauty. Rachel looked fabulous in a Monique Lhuillier toffee sequin embroidered corset and matching high-waisted raw silk trousers.

And X-Factor judge Cheryl Cole had heads turning in a body-hugging low-cut dress -- and a beautiful decolletage on display at the premiere of Habemus Papam.

Not even harsh winds can keep actress Diane Kruger from looking gorgeous. Good thing the wind on the set of her new L'Oreal commercial in Paris is courtesy of wind machines. The German beauty filmed the windy scene on the Rue de Castiglione.

Kruger, who's currently dating Joshua Jackson, was named a L'Oreal spokeswoman back in 2009. Judging by her beauty, the company made a great decision nabbing her!

Diane Kruger is stretching her gorgeous five foot seven frame in nothing but fur in the pages of GQ's March issue.

The German beauty, who has been dating Dawson Creek's Joshua Jackson for years, is currently starring opposite Liam Neeson and January Jones in Unknown.

The 34-year-old stunner admits to almost losing her role in Quentin Tarantino's Inglorious Basterds. She tells the mag:

"You know how it is. Sometimes filmmakers get hung up on something. I basically had to fly to Germany and show him my passport."

Certainly a sexy import!

We bet Joshua Jackson is pretty bummed to hear that, especially after he sees these sexy shots.

Diane looks like a 1940's pinup girl in Glamour's March issue, the Inglorious Bastards star really pulls off the vintage look, but she's more than just a pretty face. The busy actress has also been shooting her new film, Special Forces, about a French journalist who is kidnapped by the Taliban in Afghanistan. Sounds interesting.

But apparently we won't be seeing Ms. Kruger joining the long list of actresses set to walk down the isle this year. Although she's been dating Dawson's Creek star Joshua Jackson for four years Kruger confesses:

A guy friend of mine said, and it made a lot of sense, that people should get married at the end of the road, not the beginning. i was married very young. We were together seven years."

So she's not totally ruling it out. Diane was previously married to French actor Guillaume Canet whom she wed in 2001. They split in 2006 and Guillaume is currently expecting a baby with actress Marion Cotillard.
