Karina And J.R. Continue Their DWTS Victory In NYC

Nov 24, 2011 10:45 AM

Dancing With The Stars trophy winner JR Martinez Karina Smirnoff

Two days after J.R. Martinez took home the mirror ball trophy, the Dancing With the Stars champ and professional partner Karina Smirnoff are still celebrating!

The duo, proudly displaying their glitzy trophy, headed to New York for a special appearance on Good Morning America.

Martinez, an Iraq war veteran, discussed the suspenseful DWTS finale. He told the GMA audience:

"I said to Karina … 'Can they just tell us already?' It seemed like the moment was just lasting forever when they were building up the suspense. It's amazing. We've all been putting over three months of work into this. To be able to hold that [mirror ball trophy] up was a tremendous honor."

This is Karina's first win after being a part of DWTS for ten seasons. She definitely deserves it!

Rob Kardashian took second place and talk show host Ricki Lake finished in third.

Who Should Win DWTS?

Nov 22, 2011 08:00 AM

dancingwiththestarsfinalists460.jpgABC

After last night's performances on Dancing With The Stars, seems as though Rob Kardashian is close to nabbing the coveted mirror ball trophy. Who knew Kim's little brother could move like that?!

Also giving it their all ... fellow finalists Ricki Lake and J.R. Martinez.

Rob and professional partner Cheryl Burke danced the waltz after being coached by judge Bruno Tonioli. After their dance, Bruno told Rob, "You're like the male version of Cinderella who's made it to the ball."

Ricki Lake and her partner Derek Hough performed a sexy cha-cha after being coached by judge Carrie Ann Inaba who called the talk show host "fierce." We agree!

And battling through his foot injury, J.R. Martinez and pro partner Karina Smirnoff danced an incredible cha-cha after getting a few tips from head judge Len Goodman.

After each of their dances, the three duos performed their freestyle. We personally loved Ricki the best! Then again, all three are fantastic dancers.

The winner will be announced tonight!

Metta World Peace (aka Ron Artest) Voted Off DWTS

Sep 20, 2011 10:00 PM

artestbootdwts.jpgYou'd think a pro basketball player might have all the right moves, but Lakers star Ron Artest (who officially changed his name to Metta World Peace this week), didn't capture the judges hearts on Dancing With the Stars.

Artest and partner Peta Murgatroyd were placed in the bottom three couples during Tuesday night's elimination episode and scored 14 out of 30 points for their cha cha.

Judge Len Goodman said the pair's dance was "all sizzle and no sausage."

Rob Kardashian and Nancy Grace were also in the bottom three but managed to pull out some stunning moves to convince judges to keep them on for another week.

Grace and Kardashian looked on as Artest said his gracious goodbyes: "I want to say thank you to ABC, Dancing With the Stars and Peta. I had a great time!"

car Dancing with the Stars Chaz Bono tank tattoos transgender

Chaz Bono may bring in the ratings for this season's Dancing With the Stars, but will he break out the jazz hands and surprise us all with his dance floor talent?

Cher's son is obviously a bit overweight and could stand to lose a few pounds, so will DWTS help him become the biggest loser???

DWTS Winner Hines Ward Arrested For DUI

Maksim Chmerkovskiy May Not Return For Season 13 Of DWTS

May 25, 2011 08:10 AM

Maksim Chmerkovskiy/maks230WM.jpgMaksim Chmerkovskiy and his celebrity partner Kirstie Alley came in second last night on the Dancing With the Stars finale, and according to Maks, this may be his last time on the hit ABC show.

As for whether he'll be returning for Season 13, the sexy pro tells AOL TV:

"I don't know. It takes a lot out of you. When you invest that much of you into something that's supposed to be just work you [can] get misinterpreted. I don't know [if I'm coming back]. We'll see. Right now, I'm drained."

Kirstie Alley added:

"He's got good qualities. He's handsome, he's got a good voice and he's funny. He's got other qualities ... he's broody, he's deep. All the bad boy actors are like that. He could be a really great actor if he wanted to act."

Good for him! But if he doesn't return, we'll miss that sexy chest, for sure!

This isn't the first time Maks has taken a break from DWTS. Ready about the first time ... after the jump.

What went wrong on The X Factor today with Britney Spears?

Britney definitely had another meltdown. This is proof she's not ready to step back into the spotlight!
I think Britney may have overreacted to a bad audition, but it will be entertaining to watch later!
I think Simon Cowell planned this all along. Brit probably even rehearsed it!
