Looks like George Clooney's dream has turned into David and Victoria's dream home!

According to Italian newspapers, the Brits have fallen in love with the Up in the Air star's lakeside Italian villa and Clooney is keen to sell.

But the Beckhams aren't the only one interested in the 30-room Villa Oleandra. Russian vodka billionaire Tariko Roustam is said to have offered $30 million for the place - Posh and Becks have offered $26 million. Still, the famous couple are the favorites to snag Clooney's home.

So where will George and Elisabetta live?

The Hollywood hunk is rumored to have bought - get this - "a tiny island" on Italy's Lake Como for his ladylove.

Damn, Elisabetta sure is lucky!

A neighbor tells local newspaper Bergamo News that the couple "just fell in love with the island as soon as they saw it." How precious.

Guess this means George wants to sell off his old place so he can move to Loreto Island with Elisabetta!

UPDATE! George Clooney himself now says that both stories are completely false. "I am not buying an island and am not selling my house in Italy. The story was made up, then picked up and now denied. End of another riveting day of false news," he explains. Thanks for the info, George!

The National Board of Review Awards gala was held at Cipriani last night and Hollywood's biggest stars of the past year showed up, including the entire Up in the Air cast as Clooney and Anna Kendrick took home acting awards and the film itself won Best Picture.

Carey Mulligan (Best Actress for An Education), Morgan Freeman (tied with Clooney for Best Actor in Invictus) and Woody Harrelson (Best Supporting Actor, The Messenger) were also in attendance.

Yesterday we spotted George Clooney's main squeeze Elisabetta Canalis stopping by a gas station for directions, and even though she attempted to hide her pretty face from photogs, we were still able to recognize her!

I guess she wasn't expecting this kind of attention here in the US, but she should have known what she signed up for when she got into a relationship with the fantastic Mr. Clooney!
