Elton John and husband David Furnish have welcomed a second son, Hello! Magazine reports.

Elijah Joseph Daniel Furnish-John was born via surrogate in Los Angeles at 6:40pm on Friday January 11, 2013, and he weighed in at 8 pounds, 4 ounces.

The proud parents said in a statement to the mag, "Both of us have longed to have children, but the reality that we now have two sons is almost unbelievable. The birth of our second son completes our family in a most precious and perfect way. It is difficult to fully express how we are feeling at this time; we are just overwhelmed with happiness and excitement."

John and Furnish got married in 2005 after 12 years together, and they welcomed son Zachary in December 2010. Just a few months ago, the 65-year-old singer opened up about expanding their family. "I think it’s difficult to be an only child, and to be an only child of someone famous," he said. "I want Zachary to have a sibling."

Elton John threw his partner David Furnish a lavish 50th birthday party last night in L.A, and everyone from Johnny Depp to Elizabeth Hurley came out to help celebrate!

Held at the Balasco Theater, the bash had the hottest Hollywood celebs rubbing elbows with each other. The newly single Pirates of the Caribbean star looked dapper in a suit and scarf, while the British model showed off her best assets in a floor-length white cocktail dress.

Other attendees included Joan and Melissa Rivers, Neil Patrick Harris, Victoria Beckham, and more.

These two know how to live the good life!

Elton John and his partner David Furnish have been spending the summer off the coast of France, and when they aren't entertaining celeb pals like Neil Patrick Harris on their yacht, the couple keeps busy by heading into town for shopping sprees! We wonder what they bought?!

The pair left infant son Zachary at home for their spending excursion, and we wouldn't be surprised if the two were trying to enjoy some romantic solo time before adding to their brood! The same surrogate that carried their firstborn is reportedly in the beginning stages of pregnancy with the couple's second child.

We wonder if Lady Gaga will be the unborn child's godmother? After all, Gagaloo is already the god parent to little Zachary, and we're sure Mother Monster would be up for the job!

The claws are out!

Elton John isn't the biggest fan of Madonna, and he let the whole world know during an interview on Australian news channel Sunday Night, where among other things, he blasted the pop icon for her catty treatment of Lady Gaga.

"She's such a nightmare. Sorry but her career is over. Her tour has been a disaster and it couldn't have happened to a bigger ****," adding, "She looks like a f***ing fairground stripper. She's been so horrible to Gaga."

The Rocket Man has obviously taken sides in the Lady Gaga vs. Madonna feud, which started after Madonna implied Gaga's hit "Born This Way" was a remake of her hit "Express Yourself."

The Mother Monster is godmother to Elton and his partner David Furnish's son Zachary, so it's very clear where Mr. John's loyalty lies.

The How I Met Your Mother actor and his E! host husband brought their adorable twins Gideon and Harper to play with the "Rocket Man" singer's son Zachary. Too cute!

If the rumors are true, Sir Elton is getting ready to welcome a sibling for his baby boy! The Grammy winner has reportedly chosen the same surrogate he used the first time around to carry his unborn child, and the unidentified woman is said to be in her first trimester. We hope it's a little girl!

Elton John and his longtime partner David Furnish are expecting a sibling for their son Zachary, The Daily reports.

The couple welcomed their first child via surrogate in 2010, and the same surrogate is now in her first trimester of pregnancy with their second child. Interestingly, the unidentified woman, who was found through the Center for Surrogate Parenting in Encino, also carried Kelsey and Camille Grammer's two children.

"I'd love to have more children. I want [Zachary] to have a brother or a sister to go to school with him, and so that he can have someone to play with. It's going to be heartbreaking for him to grow up and realize he hasn't got a mummy. But he's so happy. I've never seen a more contented child. And you have never seen two more contented people as David and I," the Grammy winner revealed of his motivation to add to his family.

The tiny tot, born via surrogate to the "Rocket Man" singer and his partner David Furnish in December 2010, changed his parent's whole world, and now the happy couple wants to add to their brood.

The 65-year-old music legend explained to The Guardian his desire to give his son a sibling, saying, "I think it's difficult to be an only child, and to be an only child of someone famous. I want him to have a sibling so he has someone to be with. I know when he goes to school there's going to be an awful lot of pressure, and I know he's going to have people saying, 'You don't have a mummy.' It's going to happen. We talked about it before we had him. I want someone to be at his side and back him up. We shall see."

We love getting a glimpse of Sir Elton's softer side!

Elton John is being treated at Cedars-Sinai hospital in LA for a "serious" respiratory infection, according to the singer's rep.

After undergoing numerous tests, the 65-year-old performer's rep released the following statement:

"Those tests resulted in the attending physician recommending that Elton not perform any concerts for approximately seven days with complete rest and antibiotic treatment to cure his respiratory infection and prevent any damage."

The "Rocket Man" singer became ill following a Vegas performance on May 20. He's currently performing in Sin City at The Colosseum for his "Million Dollar Piano" concert dates, however his current illness has forced him to cancel several shows.

John released the following statement to his fans:

"All I can say to the fans is sorry I can't be with you. I hope to see you soon at this wonderful theatre at Caesars Palace."
