X17 FACE OFF - Emma Roberts vs. Lindsay Lohan!

Little Emma Roberts (yup, Julia's her aunt) had some choice words for Lilo this weekend during an interview with Movie Hole. She chatted about herself and her projects, and just when we thought she was a total sweetheart, she busted out the b*tch claws and took a swipe at Lindsay Lohan!
When asked what the challenges were in making the transition from adolescence to adulthood, Emma responded:
- I just think it's very thin ice you're walking on, to make the transition from child actor to adolescence. Because - you know, so many people just mess it up, and they do things that are so outrageous. And it's like - the whole point is, like, Anne Hathaway. The fact that was is Princess Diaries, like, you'd never think about that. Whereas, like, Lindsay Lohan, you still know that she was in Freaky Friday and The Parent Trap, and it's hard to take her seriously. So that's why I really like - like, Anne Hathaway is a great example. I think she's been nominated for so many awards this year. And the fact that she starred in a Disney movie when she was in her teens - a lot of people don't even know that, I don't think.
What do YOU think? Emma is gorgeous, there's no doubt about that, but if she didn't have a famous family, would she have gotten this far? And does she have significant enough acting chops to be ripping Lindsay a new one? Hmm...
We're kinda thinking Lindsay needs to put Emma in her place!

OH PLEASE...Lindsay Lohan is in NO PLACE to be putting anyone is their own place! She is a complete mess.
I dont think Emma knew how to explain very well what she meant. But there is some truth to her babble....Ann Hathway made something of her career and Linds Lohan has made a mess of her life and that is all we know her for.
If that is an exact transcript of what Emma said then she should improve her language skills before giving other interviews.
When she can string a sentence together without using the word like over and over I will listen to her opinion. Lindsay is great in the Parent Trap etc. She seems to be an easy target these days, hopefully she can get it together.
The Princess Diaries is from 2001 and its sequel from 2004. Anne Hathaway was born in 1982. That makes her 19 and 23 when those films were released. not exactelly an adolescent.
Stay in school, Emma, and learn how to form a proper sentence. Your name got you this far which is not far at all. Although I agree with what the girls was trying to say, she could have said it better.

Neither Emma Roberts nor Anne Hathaway had the child film career acclaim that Lindsay had so the transitional challenge is very different. They also do not appear to have the same parental difficulties.
When you strip away the hate Lindsay is adored and has that 'it' glow. Even if it's 5 yrs from now before she has a kick ass part (the longer the better) she will be cheered for her comeback.
Drew Barrymore is a great example of how bad and good it can get. Lindsay is bright like that.

Emma roberts is a very pretty girl and is probably a better actor than her famous aunt because julia can not act. She may have won an oscar for erin brockovich, but she did not deserve it. Lindsay is the perfect example of someone who had it all and had the potential to be the actress of her generation, but chose to throw it all away because she wanted to party all the time. Emma will probably turn out to be a pretty good actress someday, but she should refrain from these kind of comments because if she keeps making them then people will not like her anymore.
