Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart are sharing the first pictures of their 2-month-old daughter Billie Beatrice Dane, and naturally, they decided to ditch their clothes for the occasion.

Dane tells Us Weekly, "She's beautiful. When she came out, she was really alert and her eyes were open. The doctor gave her to her mom, and I was so ... you know, I was obviously very emotional."

Mom Rebecca added, "[Giving birth] was an overwhelming moment -- probably the greatest moment in my life thus far. We felt so blessed. The moment we've been waiting for finally came."

Dane describes his new full time job as a dad and says, "It changes how you look at things and how you feel about things. I like to think of myself as an artist -- but now I'm working for my kid. Now I'm a father. I've got a lunch pail, I go to work and I come home and I make sure my kid is taken care of, and I make sure my wife is take care of."

Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart recently welcomed baby girl Billie Beatrice into the world, but we haven't exactly seen her yet! We spotted the twosome arriving home the other afternoon - Eric was a total gentleman and even held the door open for his lovely wife - but still no glimpse of their daughter. Hopefully soon! Spotted: Valentine's Day hunk Eric Dane apparently attending an AA meeting in West Hollywood on Wednesday with his brother. In case you forgot, the new dad was embroiled in that "naked tape" scandal last year with wife Rebecca Gayheart...

Good thing he's still taking the situation seriously!

After a week of keeping their fans (and their baby) in the dark about their new daughter's name, a source reveals to UsMagazine.com that Rebecca Gayheart and Eric Dane have given the name BILLIE to their little girl.

Born on March 3, the girl was said only to be "doing great," but the couple has refrained from announcing a name. Dane said, during an appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show only that they had decided on a name but that his wife wanted to see the baby first before making it official. He said it wouldn't be a wacky celebrity kid name (cough, Sparrow, cough) but that they "went straight down the middle with this one."

I'm not sure Billie's exactly down the middle, but it's cute -- if not a bit androgynous -- and beautifully un-wacky :)

Tick, tock, tick, tock...any day now!

Gorgeous mom-to-be Rebecca Gayheart is due with her first child this month, but it hasn't kept her from going about her business.

Wearing comfy jeans and an comfy maternity top, here she is bringing home some nourishment for her and the little bambina. Hopefully there's something in there for her McSexy hubby, Grey's Anatomy hunk Eric Dane.

With a gene pool like that, we can't wait to see how cute their baby girl is!

The couple - who are expecting a baby soon! - shopped at Barneys in Bev Hills earlier today with a lovely-looking female friend. Let's hope their relationship with her is strictly platonic!

Yesterday Eric Dane took Cassius Getty (yup, he's Balthazar's 8-year-old son) to the beach in Malibu, and the two had a blast male bonding in the ocean.
