Eva & Tony Drop Dough on Selves, Not on Charity

Eva Longoria and husband Tony Parker spent a busy day shopping on one of Paris' most expensive streets, Rue Saint-Honore.

The happy couple (and expectant parents?) stopped at stop at Dior, Hermes, Lanvin and Yves Saint-Laurent, but DIDN'T bother stopping to help out a homeless woman and her dog. Although they may not have graced her with any money, at least she got a small smile from glowing Eva! And that's worth more than gold!

Although ya can't really blame them for not dropping any dough, maybe they're just saving their change for their unborn child's piggy bank!

Ya think they'd make good parents?

It's nice of Tony to spend so much time with his mom.

I've lived in Los Angeles, and it is next to impossible to go ten feet without seeing a homeless person. Are they supposed to stop for every single one?

Do YOU?

How about donating whatever percentage of money this story makes to a homeless charity to make up for them not stopping?

Bet you won't do it.

What does he see in this mexican midget??

Have ANY of you X17 people ever been to Paris? Ever? I don't give to homeless people there either.

Why? They (literally) 'bus' in groups of people to beg in the city. It's a scam.

It's unfortunate, since I'm sure there are some truly needy people there, but most of the street beggars you see are not even from the area.

Absolutely the best post on here. And true.

Not blame them?? "What you give to others is given back to you". Nobody knows if a homeless person they see is running a scam or not. I'm not willing to take the chance that a person is asking for help and I'm too stupid, stuck up or cynical to help a person that really needs it. Even if the person asking for help has false intentions, what about that poor dog that has to lay on a hard sidewalk all day? I can guarentee that this is not the only homeless person on earth that also has to care for a pet. I would hope that either Tony or Eva (or anyone for the fact) would give money to help the dog, if not the person. In this case it's obvious that tony & eva think too much of themselves to help others, unless it's fashionable & in front of cameras. In the end they will suffer for it with bad karma.

This is true. I have been to Paris. They tell you NOT to give them money. Most of them are Algerians and they will leave their 4 year olds alone to beg in the subway stations.
And it IS a scam. They are known to have quite a bit of money, but do this on the side. So unless you have been to Paris and know the scoop, don't try to tell people to give their money to them.

Okay then people. Let's say Eva passed ten of these women sitting on the sidewalk. Are you saying she should give to all of them ??? And then give to the next ten and so on ?
Moron. I mean...LIBERAL fool.

Posted by: Anonymous

This is true about the Algerians in France. It is a scam.
The French absolutely hate them.

Posted by: Anonymous

France has an illegal alien problem too.
The difference is that the french support them with french taxpayer money, ohhh wait we are just as dumb too.

Posted by: Anonymous

Algerians are Muslim. No wonder they hate them.

parisian beggars are NOt like americans ones, yes it is a scam and a LOT Of beggars take dogs and even CHILDREN with them for God knos what reasons, theyre busy giving ppl the evil eye but if u give them 1 euro they want more> i once gave 2 gypsy women a bunch of crepes to feed to their children n i was walking away i heard them mocking me in their native tongue. there are regular white ppl who are homeless but u will never catch those with their children all tho they might have dogs and i think thats just really sad

Posted by: Anonymous

a few year ago i was in a french fast food joint called Quick, a bunch of homeless gypsy kids came by asking me for money, i gave them money, they asked for more, i had to tell them i didnt have anything more, these children were no older than 10 yrs old, wheres social services when u need it??? btw i resent that ppl only call these ppl ALGERIAN, theres a high percentage of Algerian ppl in france that are working class and work hard, the ppl in the street are gypsies which i believe is different than Algerians

I would like to think if I had thier money that I would have dropped the woman a few bills. I dont see any other homeless people but her in the immediate area, and damn she looks so damned pitiful!

Posted by: Anonymous

Precious dog! I`d give a bag of Puppy Chow, but not to the woman..I love animals!

Hi, I'm a young French girl who seeing your site. I think people magazine should SOMETIMES let celebreties alone. Even if, that's right, some make all for they'll in this kind of media, i'm agree. So, i've a little part to understand what paparazzis did. But sometimes, they look like to haven't any values...
Cordially.

What is wrong with people these days? You people have no compassion. If you have some extra, give to someone who seems a bit less fortunate. It's not that hard.

Are you hoping Britney Spears guest stars on Modern Family?

Yes! She has a funny personality and would fit in perfectly on the ABC comedy.
No! She would be horrific on the show and would tarnish its reputation.
Don't know! But it would be a great way for the show to get even bigger ratings.
