Eva Mendes' racy Calvin Klein television ads for "Obsession" have been banned in the U.S., reports the NY Daily News.

In the ad, Eva rolls around on a bed breathing the fragrance's signature line, "between love and madness lies Obsession", and even flashes a nipple at one point! Holy Janet Jackson!

Calvin Klein, who has a history of airing provocative ads, doesn't seem fazed by the ban. It "is not entirely a surprise for the U.S. market," says Tom Murry, president and chief operating officer of Calvin Klein, Inc.

The FCC's fine against CBS for Janet Jackson's infamous "wardrobe malfunction" was recently repealed, but whaddya think, have we come to the point in America where we're ready for an intentional nip slip?

Few things make us happier than seeing more of Eva Mendes - so imagine how thrilled we are to see the promotional pix she shot for Calvin Klein!

Eva's been selected to model Calvin's line of Seductive Comfort underwear. Needless to say, it looks great on her - not that we need photo proof to believe that Eva Mendes looks great in lingerie, of course!

This isn't the first time Eva's lent her loveliness to an advertiser - she's shilled for companies like Campari in the past. Of course, if we're talking about our favorite ads featuring Eva, we can't forget her famous PETA ad!

High fashion, that is!

Yesterday everyone turned out for what looked like a gorgeous day in Paris for the Christian Dior haute couture show at the Rodin museum.

Fabulous guests included: Janet Jackson and her boyfriend Jermaine Dupri, Claudia Schiffer, Eva Mendes, Olivier Martinez, Andre Leon Talley, and a bunch of other people I didn't recognize!

I love all of these starlets, but I am sad to say that no one's outfit really did it for me at Women In Film's 2008 Crystal And Lucy Awards last night. Sorry ladies.

Meg Ryan kept it simple with a timeless black shift, but it looks like her hair took a trip back to the 80s - and not in a good way!

Cameron Diaz, on the other hand, gets an A-plus for her hair and makeup, but I'm not loving her dress and scarf combo. However, I want to steal her red satin pumps and she did do a great job coordinating her outfit, so I'll hand her the award for best dressed of the night.

If I could have had my way with Rumer's ensemble, I would have hacked 15 inches off the bottom of her dress and chosen a cool tone like plum or deep teal. I also would have given her some sophisticated jewelry, and don't even get me started on her hairstyle - oh wait - I already vented about that earlier today!

Debra Messing looks fabulous, but her dress is a bit, well, Showgirls meets Memoirs Of A Geisha. Additionally, I think she should button the dress/robe/bedspread up a bit, as I can almost see her navel (well, maybe after one more button).

Ah yes, we've already touched on Nicole and Salma, but I decided to add Eva Mendes to the group as well. Eva is scorching hot, no doubt about it, but her dress is sort of...western meets goth? I don't know, but I seriously want to fire all their stylists!

It's not just that they're both named Eva, or that they're two of the hottest and most successful Latinas in Hollywood, but they both sizzled at the CFDA awards in NYC last night!

Eva Mendes decided to go for simple, clean and classic in a long white Calvin Klein gown natch, as she schills for the label (she also presented the Womenswear Designer of the Year award to CK designer Francisco Costa).

Longoria, however, looked pretty in pink Diane Von Furstenberg, on the arm of her hubby.

Which Eva ruled the red carpet?

No wonder we caught Justin Timberlake steppin' out in his Sunday best - he and Jessica Biel were heading to a wedding!

The couple were among the honored guests at the nuptuals of celebrity stylist Estee Stanley in downtown Los Angeles. Justin was so determined to attend that he even came back from the set of The Open Road just to make it - we're sure your presence was appreciated, JT!

Of course, Justin and Jessica were hardly the only celebs in attendance; we also caught Tobey Maguire and his rarely-seen wife Jennifer Meyer, the ever-lovely Eva Mendes, Scott Speedman, Nia Long, and even the Olsen Twins - although for some reason, they decided to wear bizarre white masks!

Usually, Eva Mendes is only too happy to soak up some love from the paps - unless it's laundry day, of course!

The recently rehabbed starlet tried to duck behind her dry-cleaning when she spotted our snappers. What's wrong, Eva? You got nothing we haven't seen before!

Having wrapped up her stint in rehab, Eva Mendes is back on the streets - and looking hotter than ever!

We caught the PETA princess out and about in New York City yesterday afternoon. Just look at how healthy she looks - she's clearly back in the pink!

(And speaking of pink, how cute is that coat? Think she picked it up in Utah?)

Eva Mendes may have put her rehab on pause to return to LA a few days ago - but now, it looks like she's going full Cirque-l!

X17 caught a stoic Eva got on a plane bound for Utah earlier this morning, where she'll resume treatment at the Cirque Lodge.

The starlet declined to answer questions about her status as she made her way to her gate.

We're just happy to see Eva going back for more of the help she needs!

Has The Fast And The Furious' Eva Mendes been trying to slow things down?

TMZ is reporting that the PETA diva has been receiving treatment for substance abuse - for the last few weeks!

Eva's treatment is taking place at the Cirque Lodge in Utah, where Lindsay Lohan's made her most recent (and mostly successful) attempt at rehabilitation.

The starlet's rep spoke to PageSix.com earlier today, telling them "Eva has been working hard for the past year and made a positive decision to take some much-needed time off to proactively attend to some personal issues that, while not critical, she felt deserved some outside professional support."

"Out of respect for Eva’s privacy, we do not wish to discuss further details."

Think this'll affect Eva's status as the Campari spokeswoman?

Eva Mendes took to the streets yesterday to promote her staunch anti-fur (and apparently pro-nudity) stance.

Taking advantage of the heavy pap presence on Robertson Blvd., Eva posed with her PETA ad in full public view.

These days, you can hardly turn around without catching sight of Eva Mendes - not that we're complaining, mind you!

We caught the sultry actress in Miami last night, making an appearance at the Campari Lounge. Perhaps unsurprisingly, Eva marked her visit to the Sunshine State by breaking out a stunning orange dress!

Eva Mendes may be more than willing to strip down to her skin for a good cause, but the girl still definitely knows how to dress! We caught the PETA poster girl out in New York yesterday afternoon looking like a million bucks in her classy black-and-white ensemble. Good to see that she can show class as well as ass!

Fur coats may be all the rage at the moment, but it's clear that not everyone's on board with the trend - for instance, Eva Mendes! The sexy celeb recently stripped down to her hide as part of PETA's "I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" campaign. She also participated in a frank and impassioned Q&A session which can be found on PETA's blog. It's a great read - but we think Eva's ad makes the point pretty well on its own!

Forgive our disbelief, but after seeing Eva Mendes' Maxim cover, we were downright stunned to see Eva ducking away from the cameras as she left a sushi restaurant last night! Aww, why so shy, Eva? That Maxim photo only left us even more eager to behold your hotness!
