Matching Plaid Is Bad

Eva Mendes and her boyfriend of eight (8!) years, Michael Concepcion, donned matching plaid shirts for brunch at Hugo's over the weekend.
Eight years together is quite awhile in Hollywood years. But have they gotten so comfortable with each other that they're wearing the same clothes (it even looks like Eva's wearing one of his shirts)? Is this the death of their romance?!?
Or has it died a long time ago?
