Ex-CSI star Gary Dourdan faces some new legal issues as the actor has been issued a bench warrant today.
The much maligned Dourdan received the warrant this morning after failing to show up to a mandatory court hearing for his domestic violence case, which could land him behind bars.
According to his lawyers, Dourdan has been working on a project in Morocco and was unable to make his scheduled flight from Frankfurt in time to make the pretrial hearing this morning. Dourdan's team advised judge Stephanie Sautner that his new flight should arrive at LAX around 12:45 p.m. and the actor will be in court immediately after, who's staring at a deadline of 2:30 p.m.
Dourdan, 45, was arrested back in November for felony battery charges after ex-girlfriend Nicole Vail Cannizzaro claimed the actor punched her in the face and broke her nose during a scuffle at his Venice home.

Over the weekend we spotted Gary Dourdan with his lady love on a boat off the coast of Formentera Island in Spain, and the CSI stud was giving her all sorts of love. Not only did he apply sunscreen to her sexy bod, but he also got a handful of her booty. Score!

Troubled CSI actor Gary Dourdan was arrested early this morning in Palm Springs for suspected possession of cocaine, heroin, ecstasy, miscellaneous prescription drugs, and paraphernalia, The Palm Springs PD has confirmed to X17.
"On Monday, April 28 at approximately 5:12 AM, a Palm Springs patrol officer saw an occupied vehicle parked on the wrong side of the street on Sunny Dunes Road west of Gene Autry Trail. According to police reports, the interior light was on and it appeared as if the occupant of the vehicle in the driver's seat was sleeping. The officer approached the vehicle and made contact with the occupant. He was identified by his California driver's license as 41-year-old Robert Gary Durdin [Dourdan's legal name] of Venice, CA. The officer described Durdin as disoriented and possibly under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. The officer subsequently located suspected cocaine, heroin, ecstacy, miscellaneous prescription drugs, and paraphernalia. Durdin was placed under arrest and booked at the Palm Springs Jail for Possession of Narcotics and Possession of Dangerous Drugs. After booking, he was released on $5,000 bail at approximately 10:30 AM on Monday."

Last night outside of Hyde, CSI's Gary Dourdan violently attacked a paparazzo. According to our photog, Gary showed up after the club was already closed, looking like he was "under the influence of something." Gary asked the paparazzo to stop filming him, and when the photog wouldn't, Gary grabbed the camera and threw the photog to the ground. After the fight, Gary jumped on his bike and headed for the gas station, only to return to the scene immediately, where he attempted to follow the paparazzo.
This is the second time in one week that an innocent photographer was brutally attacked -- the former occurred outside the ESPY awards, where an X17 photog was thrown to the ground, suffering a concussion and broken ribs. It does seem that violence towards the paparazzi, many of whom are simply doing their jobs as any other photojournalists would, is happening more frequently. However inconvenient stars (or, in the case of the X17 photog, bystanders) might find having their photograph taken, there is simply no excuse for this type of behavior.
