George Clooney Expected To Raise $12 Million For Obama

He's got a strong interest in politics, and now George Clooney is reportedly pulling out all the stops to hold a $40K a plate dinner to help raise some major cash for President Barack Obama’s reelection campaign.
The Oscar winner is gearing up to hold a fancy dinner on May 10 at his Studio City, mansion for 140 A-list guests, and it's already sold out!
Clooney is expected to raise up to $12 million in donations for Obama's campaign, which officially makes this one of the biggest presidential fundraisers in US history, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The Prez is set to return to LA on June 6 for an LGBT gala, where Pink is expected to perform.
