George Clooney And Elisabetta Canalis Split

George Clooney and Elisabetta Canalis have ended their almost-two-year relationship.
"We are not together anymore. It's very difficult and very personal, and we hope everyone can respect our privacy," the couple said in a joint statement released Wednesday.
They were last seen together in May for the actor's star-studded 50th birthday celebration.
Only a few weeks ago, 32-year-old Canalis told Italian magazine Chi that she was "very happy" with her man, but also said, "I am a firm believer in marriage, in the future I will be married ..."
Clooney has confirmed several times over the years that he will not marry again (he was married once in the early '90s).
The two took their romance public in September 2009 at the Venice Film Festival.

She said she wanted to get married. That was her death warrant right there. Loose lips sink ships and she sunk hers good when she came out with that comment. I hope George rewarded her well for her time.
Why does anyone date this guy? Dating him comes with an expiration date, and everyone he dates looks identical - makes you wonder whether he has any depth at all.
