George Clooney On Marriage: Once Was Enough

Although we're not shocked to hear confirmed bachelor George Clooney say he'll never walk down the aisle again, we were a bit surprised to know that one of Hollywood's most eligible bachelors was already married once!
In an interview on Piers Morgan Tonight (which aired last night), Clooney, who was joined by his father Nick, said he would never get married again.
When Nick revealed that he was "yearning for the moment" when his son would tie the knot, George responded, "I hate to blow your whole news story, but I was married, so I gave it a shot."
Clooney married actress Talia Balsam in 1989, but the couple divorced in 1993.
George went on to say that his failed first marriage should have "proven how good I was at it."
So where does this leave George and current girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis? Well...
Elisabetta and George have been together since 2009 and it doesn't seem like the lack of ring on her finger is bothering the Italian beauty!
Last year, she gushed to Italian Vanity Fair, "I feel more embraced than ever before. The idea of being so loved is overwhelming ...George has given color back to my life."

A lot of people have great relationships without being married. This isn't something Elizabeta should worry if they love eachother. One would only worry if money was the intent. If they stay together for a long time he could change his mind. I don't blame him. When two people love eachother there's no need for a document to say so. I also think she's pretty secure with him as they seem to mesh well. She's becoming more famous then he and the media seems to care about her stories more then his therefore he must feel pretty confident about her also. Wish them well, and if she gets angry it's because she's afarid of losing more then him. I wouldn't want to be with someone unless they really loved me anyway and since she's also european she may feel the same. She can make her own money, just enjoy it and don't worry about what others think including what I just wrote.
Love can turn to hate or boredom within the matter of a day or two. Much easier to leave the relationship if there are no legal ties. Marriage is for people who are insecure and living in a dream world.
