George Clooney Organizes Haiti Telethon

George and Brangelina are such do-good celebs and we love them for it!
The Up in the Air actor is just one of many members of Hollywood reaching out to Haiti after the tragic earthquake struck this week...
Clooney is currently in the process of contacting his celeb friends as he plans to host a telethon on MTV to raise money for the nation.
Even Oprah Winfrey recently said the following on her talk show: "This is a time where we, as a global nation, should come together and support those who are in need."
Couldn't agree more! Hopefully Clooney's telethon will help as well.

Great idea! The faster the better, the people of Haiti need help as fast as possible. I am so glad that people like George, Brad and Angelina are doing so much! Kudos!
Clooney, et al Didn't give a damn about Haiti a few days ago...
I'm refuse to participate in this hypocrisy or anything that has to do with cause celebre.
Anyway I was already forced by Obama to give with my tax dollars.
But I would like to choose for myself where when and how I give.
Does he realize that he's raising money for a dictatorship that doesn't give a damn about these people and will let them die in the streets? Anything for publicity, huh George?
They can use the money to build a new palace for their ruler.
I'm skeptical that MTV and Clooney can really get the money to where it is needed.
Give to the Red Cross not these hypocrites.
Salvation Army and Samaritan's Purse already established there for years and all the help is given to the PEOPLE, not the dictators of ministers.
unicef is corrupt run by the UN .
Obama is putting all these american resources with our money.
Only to be stolen and overseen by the corrupt haitian govt.
at least George does it cause he wants to help. Oprah just does things to listen to herself talk.

What the hell is wrong with some of you?? Who cares what the motives of the people donating is? That the aid gets there is the ONLY thing that matters! There are volunteers and reps ON THE GROUND there to ensure aid gets to where it is needed. Whatever whinne you have, i doubt it compares to the suffering and horror being endured in Haiti. Either put your hands in your pockets or STFU and let those that do want to help, help.
