Maybe Somebody Should Give George A Call...
Posted on Wed Sep 24, 2008 04:24 PM PDT

So there's been a lot written about George Clooney and "will he" or "won't he" (OK, most of the stuff has said he won't) return for an episode in the final season of "ER."
But lo and behold... it seems no one has even asked George if he wants to be on the show. Clooney tells Entertainment Tonight, "I've never been asked or approached by anyone from the show about doing an episode of ER."
Sounds like somebody's fishing for an invitation...

No, sounds like he's telling Anthony Edwards to shut his pie hole when he doesn't know what he's talking about. I'm referring to his recent "He'd be a fool not to return" statement. No need to make George out to the be the bad guy when he wasn't even asked. I'm glad GC cleared that up.
Clooney and his publicist have both publically said and several times that he's not returning. They can't re-write history. George is incredibly lame.
why in the Hell does he need them?????
@ Amy: try to explain to us how he can say that he would come back when no one even asked him to do it? the only answer they can make is that he wouldn't come back....
His office is on the very same lot as ER. Why do its producers think they need to have a press conference in order to pressure him to make a cameo in their show? They obviously need the publicity that George Clooney's name can provide. We can suppose that after 15 seasons they know how this business works: first you ask people to be part of your show, then you say it publicly...
He's too busy campaining for that Barrockstar guy.
it would be BRILLIANT! if he appeared on an episode! *drool*
Look! It's Queen George!
HEAR TELL HE,S BI SEXUAL !! HE LOOKS THE TYPE !!
