It sounds like Gerard Butler is eager to start shooting a sequel to the action-packed flick, 300!

We caught up with the sexy Bounty Hunter star as he made his way to pal Jason Pomeranc‘s birthday at Caulfield’s restaurant inside Jason‘s Thompson Hotel, in Beverly Hills on Thursday night, and he was more than happy to chat about upcoming film projects!

When we asked Butler if he was buffing up to reprise his role in 300, the actor exclaimed, "Yea, I might just do that."

Fingers crossed!

Gabriel Aubry, Tom Welling, Michelle Trachtenberg, and Entourage stars Jerry Ferrara and Emmanuelle Chriqui, were also at the bday bash, which didn't end till 2 a.m.!

We spotted Gerard Butler getting coffee in West Hollywood on Tuesday, and the 300 actor didn't appear to be in the greatest mood, but can you blame him? He probably needed his morning java fix!

Maybe he had a late night sleepover with the "mystery brunette" he was spotted getting cozy with at Agency nightclub last week?

When you're a hot Scottish stud, it must exhausting romancing the ladies!

We're pretty sure that partying at posh hotels isn't one of the twelve steps, but...

We caught Gerard Butler heading into the Roosevelt hotel in Hollywood on Monday for an after hours gathering, and we're a little shocked the Scottish lad is hitting the party circuit so soon after completing rehab. Earlier in the night, the 42-year-old actor hit up Cathouse nightclub, and this past Sunday he sat courtside at the Lakers game while he checked out cheerleaders. What a life!

Last weekend, Gerry headed to the desert to take in the Coachella Music Festival and was rumored to have gotten frisky with an unidentified woman in a bathroom, so we have to wonder... maybe the Bounty Hunter star is actually addicted to pretty women instead of pills?!

Well, they may not look quite like they did back in 300, but Gerard Butler is definitely determined to get his hot bod back!

After getting out of rehab last month, the Scottish star has been spotted spending time with his parents, going out to dinner and catching the Lakers play, and he's also gearing up for his new movie role, in Hunter Killer.

According to IMDb, the flick is about an American submarine captain who "teams up with U.S. Navy Seals to rescue the Russian president, who has been kidnapped by a rogue general." Sounds like he'll be kicking some serious butt ... no wonder he's getting back in the gym!

Gerard Butler has only been out of rehab for a couple weeks, but he's already back on the Hollywood scene.

The hunky Scottish lad hit up Sur Lounge in West Hollywood on Wednesday, and we hope he was there for the food and not for the cocktails! The lounge is owned by Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump, and oddly enough the 42-year-old actor has a connection to the ladies of Bravo... he had a hot hook-up a couple months ago with cast member Brandi Glanville!

More recently, he has been making headlines for reportedly canoodling with Lindsay Lohan at the Chateau Marmont. Looks like this lothario isn't holding back on romancing the ladies!

Gerard Butler just got out of rehab a couple weeks ago, but it seems like he's already back on the mend! The 300 actor hit up The Grove with his parents for lunch, and the trio managed to soak in lots of quality time!

The hunky Scotsman gave his red carpet look a rest in jeans and a green long sleeve...but we think we prefer him in a tux! Or maybe he just needs to hit the gym?!

The notorious ladies man is wasting no time getting back on the big screen! He just signed on to star in a Millenium Films project titled Olympus Has Fallen. Butler will play an ex secret service agent who becomes the last hope of saving the White House after terrorists take over.

After it was reported that Gerard Butler had checked himself into a rehabilitation center for substance-abuse issues on Friday, it appears he has already completed treatment for his addition.

The Bounty Hunter star's rep said in a statement:

"Gerard has completed a successful course of treatment and has returned home in good health. We will not be making any further comment at this time."

The 42-year-old actor checked himself into the Betty Ford center three weeks ago, after battling a growing dependency on prescription drugs, as the result of an injury from the action flick 300, TMZ reports.

Butler's issues began in 2006, and grew worse when he suffered from an accident on the set of his latest film, Of Men and Mavericks. The Scottish actor had also "developed issues" with cocaine, but his primary concern was the prescription drugs.

We wish Gerard the best on his road to recovery!

Gerard Butler has been seeking treatment for substance abuse at the Betty Ford Center for the past three weeks, according to TMZ.

Due to the "physical demands" of the 2006 film 300, Butler reportedly began relying on prescription meds to deal with the pain.

Last December, the 42-year-old actor was involved in a surfing accident which caused him to use prescription pills once again.

A source close to the site adds, "Butler also developed issues with cocaine."

Butler is expected to leave The Betty Ford Center today.
