18-Year-Old Singer Charice Undergoing Botox For Role On Glee

I guess it's never too early to get injected!
18-year-old singing phenom Charice Pempengco, who appeared on Oprah and Ellen has sung with Celine Dion, admitted that she was undergoing Botox and an anti-aging procedure to "look fresh on camera."
The Filipino star told ABS-CBN television that she wanted everyone to be talking about her upcoming role as a foreign exchange student who challenges Rachel (Lea Michelle.)
"All people will be anticipating how will Charice look? Is she good enough to pit against Rachel Berry? So of course there is tremendous pressure," Charice said in the interview.
Her rep, however, is denying that the Botox was for cosmetic reasons. Apparently the point of the procedure "was to relieve a problem similar to TMJ," the rep told Us, not to make her "naturally round face more narrow" as celebrity plastic surgeon Vicki Belo previously stated.
Hmmm, Botox for TMJ? That's a new one!
We're not saying it's not possible, but really?

That's just pathetic. If your face is round, it's round. Botox is not going to make it skinny. If you get it 1mm smaller, it still looks round on camera, people won't tell the difference it's 1mm smaller.

Like Perez Hilton says, she is not going to last very long. She has no substance. Her stupidity is going to ruin her. She will get swallowed in and spitted it out by Hollywood.
I dont even know what to say. Im speechless! She's only 18! So young...her body is still changing and growing. I wish more young women were raised to have self-respect...first, last and always and to raised to be competent and intelligent first. The rest would fall into place. I dont want my daughter's self esteem or confidence to ever be based on a number on the scale or a needle/ scapel...so she can make choices from a place of strength and not approval of others.
Her face will move weird after botox. I hate those botox faces. They move weird and they have bumps.
The botox was for a jaw problem and it did relieve the pain. She did not get it for cosmetic reasons. This story is complete BS.
Time for damage control, thus the denial. What jaw problem? Her problem has always been her wide face or too big cheeks. She has admitted to the botox for cosmetic reasons with matching pictures in philstar newspaper, not for any invented jaw problem. She contradicts what Glee is all about which is accepting one's self even if one has flaws or imperfections.
Botox is a very accepted treatment for TMJ. It's been used for that for a long time now...maybe this "reporter" should do a wiki search now and then before writing a snide comment like that that will make her or him look like a dope. Just a thought.

yeah, i get it. shes 18 and undergoing botox. there's probably a bunch of other 'kids' doing something similar to their face, or maybe their boobs. but that doesn't mean she's a horrible singer. lets see you try to get on the top 200 billboards.
