Glee's Madonna Tribute Disc Knocks Justin Bieber Off The Number One Spot
Posted on Thu Apr 29, 2010 09:15 AM PDT
Glee's The Power of Madonna soundtrack has kicked Justin Bieber off the number one spot on the Billboard 200 album chart this week.
Glee's Madonna tribute album sold 98,000 copies, which is the lowest number for first-week sales (Glee Season One: The Music Volume 2 sold 173,000), but snagging the number one spot marks the highest debut yet for a Glee-related album.
Teenybopper king Justin Bieber dropped to the number three spot with My World 2.0, but he can't be that disappointed - his debut disc My World is at number eight on the Billboard chart.
Everyone loves Madonna!

Wow, is that all you have to sell to be #1 nowadays? Doesn't mean it was a great product - it just didn't have any competition.
