Chord Overstreet Coming Back To Glee

Oct 24, 2011 12:00 PM

ChordOverstreetBackOnGlee230.jpgAfter all the drama, Chord Overstreet is officially returning to Glee!

The 22-year-old actor left the show last season after seeing co-star Darren Criss (Blaine) promoted to a series regular role. He was upset that he didn't get the same treatment. The writers handled the parting of ways by saying that Chord's character, Sam Evans, moved out of state after his father lost his job.

But now Overstreet will have a multi-episode arc in December. Co-creator Ryan Murphy said in a statement that the show has "always loved" Chord, calling his return " ... an early Christmas present for all the Gleeks ... just in time for sectionals!"

Added Chord: "I had the best time on Glee and couldn't be more excited to be returning."

Glee's Heather Morris Admits To Having Her Breast Implants Removed

Sep 16, 2011 09:55 AM

heathermorrisfitness230size.jpgHeather Morris is opening up about her boob job ... and why she had her implants removed earlier this year.

The 24-year-old Glee star tells Fitness magazine:

"I DID get a boob job... but I've already had my implants removed. It was hard being active with them, because my chest was always sore. It hurt a lot, and I didn't like being in pain - so they had to go!"

Morris, who plays cheerleader Brittany on the hit Fox show, also discusses why she got the fake breasts in the first place. She adds:

"Implants were something I thought I wanted when I was younger, and now I don't."

As for the body she's striving for ... the Glee star says, "Gwyneth [Paltrow] has a killer body, so I'm willing to try whatever she does to look like that!"

Looks like she's taking a page out of Lindsay Lohan's photo album!

Glee star Heather Morris sports a black eye and does some iron work in a new set of photos from Lindsay's favorite photog, Tyler Shields.

Morris, 24, and Shields spent time together when he hung out with the cast during rehearsals for the Glee summer tour. He had already worked with Dianna Agron and Jenna Uskovitz -- though for less violence-oriented pics.

Heather, a former back-up dancer for Beyonce, used her dance moves for the pics and video (below.) See all the pics from the shoot in our gallery below!

Lea Michele Has A Ball With Glee Co-stars

Aug 25, 2011 11:00 AM

Dying for some Glee spoilers? Luckily, star Lea Michele is spilling the beans about season three.

In an interview with TVaddict.com, the actress revealed that her character, Rachel Berry, would have a lot more screen time with boyfriend Finn (played by Cory Monteith). And while Rachel's already a diva, it seems that we'll see her fighting for even more stage time in season three. But what about those pesky graduation and spin-off rumors? Lea's taking it all in stride, saying:

"You know what's so funny is that I feel like so many people are looking so far ahead, and honestly for me, I know what is coming up for Rachel this season, and I'm so excited for that, so i try not to get too far ahead of myself, and I'm just focused on what I have to do right now."

If you weren't already excited for season three thanks to Lea's dish, check out the first official promo above. There are no slushies, but at least there's some dodgeballs!

Game on, Glee!

Glee 3D Bombs At The Box Office

Aug 14, 2011 03:00 PM

Glee3DMovie.jpgApparently audiences love Glee on TV, but they weren't so gleeful for the Glee 3D concert movie.

The flick opened Friday, and did not even make the top 10 movies for the weekend -- ouch!

Fox was expecting it to have a big opening thanks to Glee's built-in fan base and the flick's limited theater run; ads said it would only be in theaters for two weeks, so moviegoers had a small window to see it.

But the movie only made $5.7 million, even with a nationwide release. Eek!

We're guessing producer Ryan Murphy isn't too happy to hear that! Still, he told Deadline Hollywood he's proud of the movie.

You can't say that the Glee boys aren't in on the joke.

Mark Sailing decided to Tweet about all the fun he and his co-stars are having on their summer break before season three of the hit Fox show starts filming again. "The Glee bros and I wanted to keep up our chops up over the hiatus so we formed a tribute band," the actor also known as Puck wrote.

Is it just us, or do Mark and fellow Gleek Cory Monteith look kind of awesome in the wacky, over-the-top get-ups?

Yes, we know that Mark just Photoshopped the cast's heads onto the Village People, but still ... they really would make a great '70s cover band!

Sing it with us, will you? "YMCA!"

Psych! Lea Michele, Chris Colfer And Cory Monteith Are Not Out On Glee

Jul 25, 2011 12:40 PM

Ryan Murphy, you've got some explaining to do.

Just weeks after the Glee co-creator said that Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Chris Colfer would be graduating at the end of season three and not return for the fourth, Murphy's fellow executive producer is explaining the exaggerated claims.

cmonteith072511.jpgAt Sunday's Glee Comic-Con panel in San Diego, co-creator Brad Falchuk told the crowd that all three leads are not being let go. Lea, Chris and Cory may be nearing the end of their time as McKinley High students, but that doesn't mean that May 2012 is the last time you'll see the leads.

Falchuk explained:

“Here’s the exact thing: [Rachel, Kurt and Finn] are seniors, so they’re graduating, but because they’re graduating doesn’t mean they’re leaving the show. If you have Lea Michele under contract, you don’t say, ‘We’re gonna let you go.’”

So where did all the confusion come from? Murphy originally Tweeted the news that the trio would not return for season four. Chris even claims that he was never told directly but rather found out from the Twitter announcement. Awesome way to hear about your job, right?

Further making his point, two week ago Murphy told The Hollywood Reporter:

"You can keep them on the show for six years and people will criticize you for not being realistic, or you can be really true to life and say when they started the show they were very clearly sophomores and they should graduate at the end of their senior year.”

To calm fans down, Falchuk reiterated:

“It was never our plan or our intention to let them go ... They are not done with the show after this season.”

Rest easy, Gleeks. Your beloved characters aren't going anywhere.

Still, one main character is definitely off the show. Find out who after the jump.
