Gossip Girl Will End After Sixth Season

Sorry Gossip Girl fans ... your beloved show is coming to an end.
After five successful seasons, the CW dramafest will call it quits after next year's season six.
Chace Crawford, who stars as Nate Archibald, admits that the series finale will be "bittersweet." He tells Parade:
- "For me, it's going to be…tough to leave New York City. And it's definitely an end of an era. It was college for everyone really."
With 11 episodes to go, Crawford's character will reportedly focus on learning the identity of Gossip Girl. Chace adds, "I would make Chuck(Ed Westwick's character) Gossip Girl."
