Who Will Be the Next GG It Girl (Or Boy)?

Although they've previously denied that a spinoff was in the works, Variety reports that the producers of Gossip Girl do indeed have a second series in the works.
The CW is reportedly planning on launching the spinoff with an episode sometime this spring.
So which character will be the star of their own show?
There's already a Gossip Girl spinoff from the book series, The It Girl, which revolves around Jenny Humphrey's character, but sources tell the trade that the CW show would not revolve around the books OR the character.

No one should get a spin off. The show is perfect just the way it is. Keep all the scandals going the way they are on one show. Spins off usually never work.
Problem is, if you took Chuck and Blair off GG the show would probably collapse -- does anyone wanna see a show about Serena and Dan -- and a spinoff based on any of the other current characters doesn't seem interesting.
