That's why we're kind of confused as to why they're choosing to promote their new album, 21st Century Breakdown, with shows all week on Last Call With Carson Daly!?!

I mean, you'd think they'd do the week-long stint on Conan, Dave or at least one of the Jimmy's, but the least watched show that airs at 1:30 am?

Man, Billy Joe's finally starting to look his age, huh?

I'm stumped as to why Green Day's new music is still so political. Theres a new positive climate since Obama took office. I miss the days when Green Day sang about masturbation.

All of you with the exception of 1:51pm are idiots! Green Day has not sold out! Its ridiculous when old fans of a band get mad when the band becomes successful. Its so stupid, BillieJoe doesnt care about all the fame and shit. All he ever wanted is for people to hear his music and unfortunately the only way he could do that was for Green Day to sign with a major label. And of course their music is so political. They are men pushing 40 years of age! They cant only be singing about stupid shit like masturbation and getting high. The music on this album is more mature and most importantly cohesive and back to their good old punk rock days. As for them playing at the Carson Daly show, thats cause thats the only show with an outside venue instead of inside which everyone knows its better! Come on people! THINK!!!

How old is the writer of this article..They didn't just get popular this century! They were one of the most popular bands the entire time I was in High School in the 90's. Just because you were too young to remember, doesn't mean it didn't happen. Baby...
