There's no doubt that Gwen Stefani loved the 90s.

The songstresses channeled a rocker glam look from her band No Doubt's glory days while running errands with her son Zuma today. Torn denim? Check! Combat boot heels? Check! Wide-rimmed glasses? Check! Chain details? Check and check.

Fittingly, the mother of two was voted the coolest mom in music in a survey conducted by iHeartRadio. With 30.4 percent of the vote, the singer beat out Sheryl Crow, Beyonce, Shakira, Christina Aguilera, and Madonna, among others. That's some tough competition!

Gwen told Vogue earlier this year that she loves motherhood, but that the experience isn't what she anticipated.

"At first, your life is totally the same," she told the mag. "You have this cute little thing that you get to drive around everywhere and you're so proud and it's amazing. And as they grow older, it really does start to change your life."

According to the L.A.M.B. designer, her and her band mates were living in arrested development during the beginning of their careers.

"Time kind of stops when you're in a band," she said. "It’s this suspended childhood, and it's really awesome, that part of it. But then when you have a family of your own, it forces you to go into the adult world a little bit more."

It looks like she may still be stuck in the 90s, after all.

On Saturday, Gwen Stefani made sure to avoid any sunburns as she was covered from head to toe while taking her boys Kingston and Zuma to the beach in Marina Del Rey.

The 43-year-old singer was in stark contrast to her sons, who frolicked along the beach in their swim trunks while their rock star mom donned a maxi dress, shawl and an umbrella. Who needs sunblock?

It looks like the Stefani-Rossdales have an aspiring artist on their hands.

Gwen Stefani and her son ran errands yesterday while Zuma held an adorable drawing of a house. The four-year-old is following in his rocker parents' artistic footsteps, but not in the musical sense. He also got creative last week when he hand-designed a Mother's Day card for her.

She fashionable mom rocked hot pink-rimmed shades and killer black caged booties, while Zuma wore head-to-toe neon green. He must have inherited Gwen's love of bright colors.

On Saturday, Gwen Stefani took her sons out to enjoy video games, pizza and cotton candy at Chuck E. Cheese in Los Angeles.

The No Doubt rocker admits that she loves her boys but it's certainly not a walk in the park.

Looks like Mother's Day came early for Gwen Stefani!

The always fashionable singer was snapped out and about in Beverly Hills on Wednesday, and she carried a sweet handmade card from her youngest son Zuma. We're guessing the 4-year-old had a little bit of help in getting the photo of himself as a baby, but everything else on the card looked like his handiwork. How cute! Wonder what Gwen's boys (and hubby Gavin Rossdale) have planned for her this Sunday?

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale attended the 2013 Costume Institute Gala in New York City on Monday night, and the 43-year-old singer showed some skin in a black and white Maison Martin Margiela gown. Gavin didn't wear makeup or a mohawk, but he did rock a plaid suit with a dropped crotch. Looks to us like Gwen styled him for the evening!

And speaking of couples, Jessica Alba and Cash Warren also hit the red carpet, and while we don't really care too much about Cash (sorry!), Jess looked incredible in a Tory Burch gown:

That's a unique combination!

Gwen Stefani ditched her usual glam wardrobe on Thursday when she rocked an eclectic black and white with a splash of pink (in her shades) while taking Zuma, who followed suit in a crazy getup of his own, to school.

The 43-year-old No Doubt frontwoman is well known for her keen fashion sense but judging by this look, it's clear that was the last thing on her mind.

Everyone's allowed an off day!

On Tuesday Gwen Stefani stepped out in Beverly Hills looking like she was ready to strut down the runway, and later X17 photographers caught her heading to school to pick up her youngest son Zuma. We're willing to bet that she's the best dressed mom in the parking lot!

In other news, the 43-year-old singer and her No Doubt bandmates recently reached out to help a fellow musician in need of a liver transplant. The group donated an autographed guitar for an eBay auction and said in a statement:

"The money raised will be used to aid Frank Ruffino (legendary guitarist of the punk band China White) and his family by providing medical and living expenses during the time of his liver transplant surgery and post-surgery recovery. With all that Frank has been through medically in recent years we are so blessed to know that soon he will have a new lease on life... pain-free and healthy."

Yet another reason why we love Gwen!
