We already knew Nicole Kidman was taking a serious plunge when she signed on to play Einar Wegener, the first post-operative transsexual in “The Danish Girl,” and now Variety reports that Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow will play his wife Greta! It sounds like Gwynnie and Nic really want some more golden statues above their fireplaces, and this movie seems like the perfect chance to do just that!

As the story goes, Greta, a portrait painter, asked her husband Einar to stand in for an absent female model one day, and he put on a dress, stockings and woman’s shoes and transformed into a woman named Lili. The photos became very popular, so Greta encouraged her husband to do more, but something had already struck a chord deep inside Einar, and though the events that happened next turned their marriage upside down, Greta stood by her partner through the sex-change operation.

We can't WAIT to see Nicole and Gwyneth tackle these roles, but the question is, who are you more curious to see in this flick?

Hollywood marriages rarely seem to last forever. We all were forced to come to that conclusion when Brad and Jen broke up!

But now more couple are being put to the test...

Josh Duhamel had an alleged affair with a stripper - classy! - but wife Fergie is standing by him. Also in trouble? Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin. Reports claim the Coldplay singer hooked up with actress Kate Bosworth, and while all parties involved deny it, Chris and Gwyn have been on the rocks (again, allegedly) for a while.

Which begs the question:

Sources tell X17online that Kate Bosworth and Chris Martin were spotted making out in not just one, but two public locations over the past few weeks.

This week's Star magazine reports Kate and Chris were first seen hooking up at U2's concert on October 23rd, but X17online can report exclusively that the pair were also spotted together in the bay area, during Coldplay's appearance at the Bridge School's benefit in NorCal the next night.

"Chris is totally Kate's type, she loves the Brits like Orlando and James Rousseau," says our source. "And she's Chris' type, too. A blonde bore, just like Gwyneth!"

"Gwyneth and Chris are definitely done," the source continues. "Their marriage is over!"

The only question is, does Gwyneth know?

UPDATE - Gwyneth's rep, Stephen Huvane just issued X17online the following statement: "It is complete rubbish and another fabrication. Lawyers for both Chris and Kate are currently considering legal remedies against Star."

Forget Sex and the City - I'd rather just follow Paltrow around all day!

Well, it definitely isn't Gwyn's outfit or her perfect blowout, but methinks someone needs a little touchup on her blonde locks!

Gwyneth Paltrow was snapped leaving the Stella McCartney Spring-Summer 2010 show in Paris, and later we snapped Mrs. Goop arriving at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. Though her roots are a bit distracting, we can't help but point out how unfrizzy her hair looks despite the drizzle.

There's a report in the Daily Mail suggesting that Gwyneth Paltrow is jealous of her much-younger co-star behind the scenes of Iron Man 2. Why? It all has to do with this new promo campaign:

And the fact that Gwyneth wasn't in it! Now there were already reports back in May about Gwyn hating on Ryan Reynolds' wife - could they really be true or is this all tabloid fodder?

Regardless, a source tells DM that Paltrow "is furious she’s been left out." A spokesman for the actress, however, claims she "was not at all upset." So what's the truth?

She's so full of GOOP!

I know, when you think of actress Gwyneth Paltrow, the first word that comes to your mind is "heffer." Except not so much at all.

In this week's GOOP newsletter, Gwyn talks about going on an "amazing" three week Clean detox program - no, she didn't design it, some detox specialist did.

And you know what, I appreciate her advice sometimes. Plus it seems like the program isn't liquid-only. But then she goes on to say that she is so happy she "dropped the extra pounds" she gained during a "majorly fun and delicious 'relax and enjoy life phase.'"

I ask you, have you EVER seen any extra pounds on Gwyneth Paltrow?

It looks like the Goop Goddess has got her hands on at least one of the rooms in Madge's super deluxe new Upper East Side townhouse.

According to The Sun newspaper, Madonna was so impressed with Gwyneth's work on her daughter Apple's room she asked her to decorate a room for her newly adopted daughter Mercy.

So what does Gwyneth have planned?

Think porcelain dolls, antique teddy bears, a library of leather bound children's book and ancient maps of Africa for the walls.

Sound likes little Mercy will be in for quite a surprise when she finally sees her new home.

Madonna's also reportedly planning to build a Georgian-style treehouse in the garden for her younger kids to enjoy.

Sounds like Madge isn't sparing any expense when it comes to spoiling her kids!

Uh oh! Drama on the set of Iron Man 2!

The Sun reports that Gwyneth Paltrow is jealous of co-star Scarlett Johansson because she's "hogging the limelight"! One source told the paper, “Gwyneth has become very frustrated with Scarlett. They come from different worlds and have completely different styles. Gwyneth has found Scarlett very demanding of the attention of the crew. It’s not a happy set."

The source continued, “Gwyneth and Scarlett have never been particularly close. Gwyneth was looking forward to working with Emily Blunt, who was originally in line for the part, but it ended up being Scarlett. Gwyneth's had to live with that and she has been very professional, but she and Scarlett haven’t developed a friendship on the shoot, which is almost at the half way point. In fact, it’s quite the opposite.”

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that Scarlett's wardrobe consists of sexy leather catsuits while Gwyneth's character sports frumpy business suits? I mean, Gwyn's a hottie and all, but we can see why she might be just a little bit jealous of her younger, sexier co-star!

We spotted the Goopalicious actress hopping (or is that hiding?) in a car on Sunday in the BH with her son Moses. Aw, hope he did something nice for her... you know, like go on a sugar/carb/dairy diet for the day!

So I guess this is Gwyn at her most casual - and why not? It's super-hot in Santa Monica! The Oscar-winner was picking up her son Moses from school yesterday afternoon. I know it's always love/hate with Gwyneth, but today, I love her!

In her latest GOOP newsletter, our favorite wannabe-Brit Gwyneth Paltrow admits to having a "frenemy." How Mean Girls of you, Gwyn!

Apparently, this person from her past was "hell-bent on taking me down," declares Paltrow. "I was deeply upset, I was angry, I was all of those things you feel when you find out that someone you thought you liked was venomous and dangerous."

So what happened? "One day I heard that something unfortunate and humiliating had happened to this person. And my reaction was deep relief and... happiness."

OMGOOP, Gwyn! Actually, this is kind of hilarious for her to reveal. We've all been there!

But who could she be talking about? I hope not Madonna!

Gwyneth took a break from writing GOOP to take her lovely daughter Apple out and about in Brentwood this weekend - I know everyone thinks Gwyn can be uptight and pretentious (hey, she probably is!), but she's so effortlessly graceful and classy I can't help but adore her.

Plus, she had the best role in The Royal Tenenbaums. Beat that!
