Chris Martin On Wife Gwyneth Paltrow: "She's Been A Great Beard For Me Now For 10 Years"

Chris Martin and his band Coldplay stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show to discuss their new album Mylo Xyloto ... and their personal relationships.
When asked about wife Gwyneth Paltrow, Martin's conversation with Ellen went as follows:
- Ellen: You don’t talk about Gwyneth a lot?
Chris: No.
Ellen: But you have a great relationship and two precious kids. And we love Gwyneth. She’s been here many times.
Chris: She’s been a great beard for me now, for 10 years.
Ellen: Is that right? It’s not really a real relationship? She just pretends that she’s your wife.
Chris: Yeah, it’s hard to believe."

Their relationship has always been weird. Chris Martin looks TOO much like Gwyneth's own brother Jake, another weirdness. They don't go anywhere or do hardly anything together. It's more like she's his older sister. So weird they had two kids together. It's all like a weird incest the way they all look alike. He only says weird off the wall comments about her. They never say they are madly or passionately in love and don't show that at all, public or not, that's not an excuse. It's almost like they're competitve with each other, especially her I think. Weird, that's the word that comes to mind the most about those two.
