With Paris' journey back to jail dominating the news this weekend, one can only wonder what has happened to the idea of celebrity over the last few years. Are they just spoiled socialites or teen drama queens? So it was nice to see a true actress - and a natural beauty, to boot - like Gwyneth Paltrow strolling around Santa Monica looking effortlessly classy. I don't think Hilton or Lohan would've impressed too much in films like The Talented Mr. Ripley or Shakespeare in Love, don't ya think? Go Gwyneth!

I thought she was great in Shakespeare in Love, as well as Emma and The Talented Mr. Ripley. She won the oscar, as did the picture, because it was a happy and enjoyable movie, as opposed to Saving Private Ryan and Elizabeth, which were also great, but not favorites. Sometimes voters go with what they like best, not what they're supposed to believe is the best. I don't think she has to prove her acting abilities to anyone. She's talented, and her parents' background would have only gotten her so far.

Oh,in the first picture you can count to five toes. But the smallest toe are going in under the other, because she have probably used bad shoes! Girls shouldn´t do that!
