Halle Berry has been granted a restraining order against Richard Franco, 27, who was arrested for trespassing on her property. Franco must now stay at least 100 yards away from the Oscar-winning actress and her daughter Nahla.
In a sworn declaration, Berry said the following:
- “This person has jeopardized not only my personal safety, but also the safety and well-being of my family. This person has invaded and trampled upon the most fundamental sense of security I have, and I am extremely frightened of him and what he might do to me or those I love.â€
According to police, Franco has been seen at Berry's home at least three times. Franco will be back in court for a hearing on August 1 to determine whether the restraining order will be extended for three more years.
