Hayden Reveals That She Was Punched In The Face, Bullied In Middle School!

Looks like she pulled a Demi Lovato here! That is a pretty sexy shot though, so we are willing to forgive her...
Hayden Panettiere is in the August issue of Details, and the starlet talks about her rise to fame, being bullied in school and how she deals with the ever present paparazzi and media attention.
Hayden reveals that in middle school, she was punched in the face by "a very angry, very sad girl," and she was "tortured, emotionally tortured by these girls. Every time I came back from filming, it would be me trying to find my way back into the clique. And they weren't having it." Awww! And as if being picked on in school wasn't bad enough, Hayden has certainly had her fair share of drama when it comes to the gossip rags.
Regarding the media's scrutiny of her personal life and relationships (many of which are with much older men), Hayden tells the mag, "When it comes to relationships, it's nice to have something that is your own and not everyone else's. That's not part of my job. I never stood up on a podium and said, 'Vote for me - I'm perfect. I'll be this for you and never do anything wrong.'"
Concerning the weekly rumors in the tabloids and all the haters out there, Hayden added, "I learned the game. The more I react, the angrier I get, the more satisfaction they get. That's exactly what they want." That makes sense, but this next bit kinda left us scratching our heads. When Hayden was sitting with the reporter at a Hollywood eatery, two men approached the actress and asked for a picture with her. After going back and forth with the fans, Hayden agreed to snap a picture with them, and as soon as they walked away, she told the reporter, "I gave them a half-smile. It's a survival skill."
Really? I mean, being a cute, rich celebrity must be tough, but Hayden is making it sound like such a burden!
I LOVE Hayden, and I don't want to say this...but after reading this interview I feel like she's gotten a little too big for her britches...anyone else agree?

Children who become actors at such a young age as Hayden did, have no idea what being famous means to other people. For them the constant media attention comes as a great surprise. Especially the fact that they can do nothing without some dimwit (and I am also talking about myself) asking for a picture or an autograph, let alone the stalkerazzi when they grow up) is something they cannot fathom.
Hayden has a right to complain.
Actors who start at an older age should keep their anoyance to themselves as they sought the limelite at a time when they were able to oversee the effects.
