Heath Memorialized in LA

Heath Ledger's body was taken to the Pierce Brothers Westwood Village Memorial Park and Mortuary yesterday where family members and friends paid their respects at an LA memorial.
Ledger's body is en route to his native Australia but made a stop-over on the West Coast for a tribute by friends like his ex-girlfriend Naomi Watts.

Her lawyer threatened that if any reporter were to write anything false or defamatory about Mary-Kate in connection with Heath Ledger's death - that the reporter and the newspaper would be sued. It raises the question, were the police pressured by her legal pit bulls the same way? We may never know what happened in those nine minutes between the unlicensed masseuse's first peculiar call to Mary-Kate and the arrival of paramedics. There must be a lot Mary-Kate doesn't want us to know.

My deepest symphony to Heaths daughter Matilda, May you always know how much your dad loved you. To Heaths parents I pray for your family in this time of great sorrow & grief. For Michelle Williams I pray that you can be very strong through this horrible accident and you will always find the strength for yourself and what it takes to raise your and Heaths Baby Matilda. For Heaths friends, I hope you will always remember what a great friend he was. God Bless You All.

The best part of this story is that the family and friends held TWO services, in NY and Los Angeles, without a single paparazzi getting a picture. In fact, I have not seen one photo of his family on US soil, and by now they have probably returned to Australia.
It's a relief to see that they could grieve privately. Heath was a beautiful man inside and out, and will be missed by many.
This is so sad. He actually seemed like a person of substance, and was a great acter who made great movies that had meaning. RIP
