Helena on Heath: "Shocked" and "Beyond Sad"

Heath was known as a "loner" throughout his New York neighborhood, spending most of his time after his split with Michelle riding throughout the Village on his skateboard alone.
The one friend he did seem to keep close contact with was model Helena Christensen, who tells Women's Wear Daily "I was on my way over to pay him a visit when I found out. I had just left him a message and heard his voice on the machine..."
She goes on to describe Heath as "such a special and genuine person, so extraordinarily talented because he was so raw and honest with his feelings. He was so full of life, so electric...This is immensely sad."
The world was shocked when Heath Ledger's body was discovered at his New York apartment Tuesday afternoon. The autopsy is so far inconclusive, but recent reports revealed that Heath struggled with depression and drug abuse, and there is some question as to whether or not his death was accidental.
Our condolences go out to Heath's friends, family and fans, who are mourning his untimely death.

I hope he didn't do it purposely. It's such a loss. He was such a good actor and so young.

That "recent report" claiming drug abuse is an unsubstantiated tabloid claim...
The police are now saying that it seems most likely Heath's death was accidental, and no illegal drugs were found in his apartment, nor anything unusual to suggest foul play.
This is very sad, we shouldnt be losing lives of peole in there 20s! My heart goes out to everyone mourning this loss today
I'm sure ALL of Heath's exes(Naomi Watts, Michelle Williams) are shocked and beyond sad about the death of Heath-as is everyone.

Michael Hutchence situation is very similar to Heath's. It is very sad that these people who seem to have it all as so depressed & have such issues.
