No Illegal Drugs Found At Heath's

Contradicting earlier reports, New York City Police Commissioner Ray Kelly revealed in a press release that no illegal drugs were found in Heath Ledger's apartment.
Kelly confirmed that cops did find a rolled-up $20 bill in the vicinity of Ledger's body, but saw no evidence of drug residue on the bill.
The bill has been sent to the lab for testing.
Hopefully it comes back clean - this story's sad enough already!
We'll bring you more as soon as we hear anything - it sounds like there's still plenty to learn about this situation!

A local news station did drug testing on random bills from people they stopped on the street. Several came back with drug residue. It could have been from anyone who had previously had the money. It proves nothing.

Sad and unbelievable this has happened to an up and coming star with everything to live for. I know drugs had a big part to play and grieve for his family. Rest in Peace Heath
Maybe it was something as simple as "it was just his time"...nevertheless, it is a tragic loss. The average person on the street is talking about Heath's death and what a wonderful actor he was. It is a tragedy and if Heath's parents ever read these sites I hope they realize he will live forever through the work he has done in his short life and he also left this world as a "good person"...there are so many other people who should have been first and I guess that is what angers people. Why the good ones go and the irrelevant ones stay.
