That was a quick trip to New York!

Last night Heidi Klum attended the annual amfAR Gala for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in NYC, but the supermodel is already back in lovely Los Angeles, presumably to be with her 4 children. We snapped her at LAX this afternoon, and it looks like she's ready to take it easy and move on from her recent and shocking split from husband Seal.

Heidi was all smiles at the event last night, but a source tells Us Magazine that she's still keeping a low profile. "Heidi is trying to focus on work and her kids in this time of heartbreak," the insider revealed. "She most definitely wouldn't be out [last night] if it wasn't to support a charity she believes in."

We know she just split from husband Seal, but that's no excuse for dressing like this -- especially when you're en route to NYC for Fashion Week!

Heidi Klum was photographed arriving at LAX last night to board a plane to JFK, and the supermodel appeared quite tired when she stepped out of her car. Hopefully she'll get some rest (and a change of clothes) before we see her again!



Heidi Klum took daughter Leni out to lunch for a little one-on-one time Saturday. The German supermodel wore a rather funky get-up, with a long t-shirt and sweater, jeggings, snakeskin boots and leopard-print shades.

And there was one accessory we took note of ... two weeks after announcing she and hubby Seal have split, Klum is still wearing her wedding ring!

Heidi Klum is finally speaking out after her very public breakup from Seal.

The 38-year-old supermodel Tweeted the following:

"Hi everyone, I want to thank u for all your support & kind words," Klum Tweeted on Tuesday. "[It] really means so much. Thanks again...to the best fans in the world! xoHeidi"

Seal, 48, and Klum were married for almost seven years before officially announcing their split January 22.

Both the "Kiss From A Rose" singer and the former Victoria's Secret Angel are still wearing their wedding rings.

Heidi Klum stepped out with daughters Leni and Lou today -- with a full corp of photographers waiting -- at a beauty shop in Brentwood, and while the supermodel looked a bit tired, she didn't look down in the dumps at all.

Heidi and estranged husband Seal confirmed their split last week, but neither one of them has filed for divorce -- or ruled out a possible reconciliation. "It may happen, I can't speak for her," Seal told Piers Morgan the other night. "Is it irreparable? You can never say never. The thing I love most about us is that we are a team … that won't change, whether we get back together or not."

There has also been some speculation that the split was announced to generate buzz for Seal's just-released album, Soul 2, but a rep for the singer's record label told X17online exclusively that the timing was purely a coincidence.

Seal and Heidi are both still wearing their wedding rings, so who knows what will happen?

Since Heidi Klum and Seal announced their split on January 23, the supermodel has been living in a Beverly Hills hotel, X17online can report exclusively.

Our photographer has seen Heidi at the posh hotel for the past five days while Seal has remained in LA while promoting his new album, Soul 2.

The "Kiss From A Rose" singer has been staying at home with their four kids while his soon-to-be ex spent alone time at a 5-star hotel.

An X17 photographer tells us:

"Heidi has been by herself the past few days. Sometimes her assistant is around briefly, but it seems she really wanted some time to herself."

In a recent interview with Access Hollywood, Seal said:

"My main priority is that [Heidi] is happy. I just want her to be happy. I want our children to be happy of course. But I want her to be happy. It’s always been like that."

The couple were married for seven years.

Seal isn't shy about speaking out about his split with wife Heidi Klum ... or discussing the possibility of a reconciliation.

The 48-year-old "Kiss From A Rose" singer appeared on CNN's Piers Morgan Tonight and said the following:

"It may happen, I can't speak for her. Is it irreparable? You can never say never. The thing I love most about us is that we are a team … that won't change, whether we get back together or not."

Seal and Klum were married for almost seven years. He adds:

"I don't know at this point, to be honest [if I want to reconcile]. If it were that easy – if there weren't problems, we'd still be together. That is the reality ... I'm still wearing my wedding ring because I'm still married to this incredible woman."

The singer is currently promoting his latest album Soul 2.

Heidi Klum's split from Seal after close to seven years together wasn't a last minute decision, and the supermodel has a prenup to prove it, according to Life & Style.

A source tells the site:

"In 2005, when they got married, the career situation was a bit different. Heidi has really had way more success than Seal since then."

As for legal representation, the source adds:

"She was the one to hire the attorney. She wanted to be in charge and make sure that he knew that she was leaving him."

The former Victoria's Secret model is worth an estimated $70 million. Seal is worth an estimated $15 million.

Seal and Heidi have four children ... Leni, 7, Henry, 6, Johan, 5, and Lou, 2.
