everybody should be proud of where they come from, i'm irish and very proud of my country. i won't go insulting other countries. i'm not perfect but i'm proud of myself, only God can judge. people who insult others have insecurity problem and complex of inferiority. we should all learn to respect each other's backgrounds. we have our own faults and goods, but there's no reason to stooping so low as insulting each other's cultures. I'm german and i've been to america, we're all the same as far as standards of living. just like the person before me commented, all countries have good and bad points. no country is perfect, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be proud of where we come from. people in africa should be proud of where they come from, it's not about wealth, it's about family. values that your parents,friends mean to you. we germans made mistakes but i'm very proud to be german. heidi is just one example that just because you're german thus you're racist. i'm not either...

well if we have to always try to look into people's relationships we'll find many things that are weird to us. but it's their lives to live, look at all the young,beautiful women with hugh hefner(playboy. to me he's sooo old and ugly, and those girls really go for his money. so to me heidi and seal both are rich, but love is love. if he makes her happy and that's what both want, then it's perfect. people are too focus on material and forget about real love!!

for the person who called germany&other europeans countries waste, with no culture and intelligence. i'm american, but correct me if i'm wrong didn't european go around the world in the late centuries?. i've travelled a lot to europe and africa, and still do with my work. europe is very aware of so many things,they've done that been there. how about roman empire, the greeks, the french kings and queens..the list is so long. for culture and intelligence, europe has done that and been there. plus germans are known for being clever, perfectionist and more. so they can be proud of who they are, we only think about them only with a hitler connection, but really i've been there too and it's not like that.

true, the person who called germany a waste land, i think he's angry because heidi married a black person. and it's hirting him, if you want to talk about culture (i'm american white) then heidi's marriage shouldn't bother you(2 cultures in a marriage). and this is just one of the basic things with cultures and learning,and true never judge a book by it's cover, because seal is doing a great job with heidi better than that womaniser briatore she was with. good job seal
