The New York Times , in a review of the new season of The Hills set to premiere tonight (we can't wait!), has declared that "Heidi has emerged as a kind of feminist hero," especially in the battle between Lauren Conrad and her former best friend.
And ya know what? They're kinda right!
At least in the context of the onscreen drama:
We've been "Team Lauren" since the beginning...but is her "baroque moralism" (as the NYT says) a bit out-dated and old-fashioned?
Or is that just what makes her so relatable?
