Despite the fact that parts of her are fake - literally - Heidi Montag has real emotions!
The Hills star spoke to Us Weekly about feeling "uncontrollably ill" after learning about the negative responses to the music video of her debut single "Higher." "I cried myself to sleep that first night after my video came out," she says. "I am just a 21-year-old from a small town in Colorado trying to follow her dreams."
Aw, cue the violins! In a surprising turn of events, the song wound up climbing to No. 7 on the iTunes Top 10 pop chart.
As for the video, could it have been better? "We had other ideas but we couldn't afford them," says Montag.
You know Lauren Conrad is loving this! Well, the Heidi crying part, at least.
